But I agree, unless TNT wishes to make some explanation as to why siblings are different species, they should keep them as the same species. Although, I have to say that Hagan really doen't sound like a name for a Lenny.

The acara shopkeeper is anthro. I thought they were trying to stay away from the whole anthro thing. I guess it started with some royal pets. Blah

In NQ2 there's a lot of anthro pets, so this Acara isn't the first one.

I love this world! It looks so pretty and interesting. Plus, besides Darigan's Castle, Meridell, and The Ice Caves, most of the worlds need a makeover. I say that Mystery Island should be the next world they redraw. I don't know who is doing the artwork for neopets now, but they are doing a great job. Do you know how hard it is to actually draw vegetation like trees and leaves? Well someone has that down pat. I mean, I've seen the mystery island cards and I am most impressed with all the leafyness. I love mystery island though, but this may be my new favorite world.

And for some reason it doesn't bother me that some of the pets are antro like. I don't know why, but I've always imagined them to be antro like. More petish than humanish, but with the ability to weild weapons and run on two legs and the such.

Yes, the artwork is superb! I'll bet shroomy knows who does this stuff. And yes, Mystery Island should be one of the next ones, though I think Neopia Central is more due for an update.

Yes, main shops really really do need an update more than mystery island. Main shops is probably the most visited area of the site and a makeover would make it more appealing. Right now the main shops looks pretty old compaired to the awesome new artwork we have.

I was wondering how long that would take, given it being a new world that nobody is supposed to know about and the thousand's of page views it was getting.

Yup, the main shops should be next. And, as much as I LOVE the Mystery Island, Happy Valley and Terror Mountain should be next so that whole area will be done. Then we can get to the Island. Oh and the Haunted Woods and Desert Fairground DON'T need a makeover. They are great already, too.
