I didn't get reset yesterday or today, but I submitted a ticket Monday and got a response a few hours ago that they're working on it. Went back to collect another daily quest prize, and it's down for maintenance. Maybe they'll reward all of us and reset us to zero like last time?

Edit: yep. Just got a NM and my prize. I might have considered refreshing it, but this actually makes up for the time change debacle and syncs us.

Yep. indeed. So... How do I check and see if they gave me back the save streak ticket that I wasted?

Hopefully you get that back. Looks like the quests are back along with a new prize pool. The beads seem to be gone.

And they added at least one NC-related quest (trying on clothes in the mall). If they require us to waste real money for these daily quests (yes, I know I have free NC, but it represents real money), that's probably going to be my actual hard line in the sand. They've been marching way too far towards pay to play for my comfort, and that will be my sign that it's too far.

Edit: and trying it on didn't work. Take two.

Edit: tried it on a couple of pets. It finally worked. But ugh, the mall is so broken. The clothes didn't even show up on my pets.

Look like a bunch of new quest tasks today. I guess I can no longer go robotically through them. I would just load the page, look to see how many items to buy, (1, 2 or 3), and which wheel needed to be spun. Then go do them all... Nope.

These are new for me today:

Play With a Pet - Play with any toy item with one of your Neopets
Read to a Pet - Read a book to one of your Neopets
Try on an NC Item - Try on any wearable item in the NC Mall
Fight in the Battledome - Fight in a 1-player or VS Battledome match
Go Fishing - Reel in your line with one of your Neopets at Ye Olde Fishing Vortex in Maraqua

Try On worked for me the first time. However, they don't have clothes on the main NC page anymore, so it took a minute to find something to try on.

ETA3... My Save Streak Ticket was indeed restored/returned to me.

ETA4... This week's weekly prize is... Lemon 9th Birthday Lollipop. Currently worth less than 40k. Nope. Snot Slingshot.. Dropped to 130k today. Nope. Magical Red Cybunny Plushie. Maybe. Dropped to 810k yesterday. Was 6MM 3 weeks ago. Meh. It's day one. I'll sit on this for now.

The mess last week with QL really hacked me off, mostly because of the lack of communication. But...they did get it fixed (albeit not right away nor did they say anything anywhere until several days in).

The new weekly prize pool is pretty much trash. For the borked prize, I had rolled from last pool once into a Maractite Scimitar. I got the Rainbow Kacheek MP the first "good" week and kept it. Started this week with a Disco Warf but rerolled once into a GX-4 Oscillabot Coin, which...I have, but it's better than a R101 petpet.
Pretty much all of the prizes have plummeted already. I can dream that TNT will realize how bad this batch is and switch them out in December...but not counting on that.

FYI, for read a book, it doesn't have to be a new book. If you read a book to your pet that they've read before, it'll say they thumb through it or something like that, and then check the task off without consuming the book.

Oh, great to know about the book! And apparently I read it to a different pet this time. At least I still have 62 more in my SDB.

And today I got a fun combo of quests: misfortune + battle. The healing springs finally healed me to finish that off. (Technically it was yesterday's wheel spin that did it, but it bled into today's quests. Thankfully I didn't have to battle yesterday.)

Another new quest: Check out Popular NC Items

Now that you mention it, I had a new quest today, too. "Check out the NC Mall(?)" I just needed to visit the NC mall to complete the achievement. No special location needed. I need to do a better job of paying attention and capturing these. Ugh.

I've had decent luck this prize pool so far. The first few prizes were decent, and I just spent 10k to switch from an orange jelly guitar (ew) to a Valentine kadoatie. I need to sell my other prizes before they deflate too much.

Prizes have been OK for me this round. I sort of like the variation in the specific challenges day-to-day, but the rote was much quicker. Then again, if I hadn't received the "Fight in the Battledome" challenge, I wouldn't have found the Giant Moach that pays out 20,700NP on hard, and one drop was a red codestone! Nice.

This week, I am working towards the Book of Flames (book), which at last check was worth around 999k. (after dropping from 10 million starting on 11/7/2025)
