Well... Worked both weekend days in the bars. 80th birthday party full of drinkers. Hoo, boy were they drinkers. On the plus side, good tippers. Yesterday be was busy, too. Highlight might have been the smoldering fire in the patio ashtray. Highlight of the day? Lunch

Oh, yeah. Completely failed to battle this weekend. Whups.

This is the "pretty much go nowhere, mostly stay at home with the visiting parents, and do nothing" vacation week

Of course, I am currently at the car dealership getting an overdue service done this morning and working on my laptop while I am here. Then again, I am doing my dailies... how hard can I actually be working?

Since there's not a consensus yet and because there's not already enough crazy randomness in my life right, I'm going to join Awakened. I feel like not knowing how yet something else will turn out. Why not? Let everything be up in the air!

ETA: Got a decent amount of battling in today. Guess we'll see how it goes tomorrow.


ETA2: Awakened wins! Good boons to choose from, too - Bank, Stocks, and Carto all available. I went with Bank...before I collected interest this time. Little P went with Carto, because he has not yet developed enough patience for stocks.

ETA: I joined Seekers for BLP. Got in some battling today. BLP got in a LOT of battling this morning. He's determined to get this last one!

I don't remember it, but I guess I managed to join I managed 15 battles against each. I put out a call to my auxiliary, and they put in extra battles. Fingers crossed!

I also went with bank because I'll be lucky to collect interest for the next week. At least I've got one day of higher interest!

My parents are picking me up tomorrow. Hopefully we'll manage to miss the storms from the remnants of Ida. Praying for everyone affected.

BLP is super excited and says a big thank you for all the help! (He did put in a fair number of battles when we gave him a little bit of computer time - it was seriously restricted due to having company, though, but he spent most of it battling!)

We'll see with MLP. I'm not sure we're ready to tackle that challenge yet. ;p

I went with the bank boon, too. Definitely the best for me.

I finally managed to get into urgent care. They gave me a tetanus shot and a 5-day course of antibiotics. Seems like overkill, but I've had way too many people tell me horror stories about cat bites, and I don't want to have to go to a hospital right now with all the COVID cases.

EDIT: Order won! I went with Carto.
