That week went fast. I miss my boon already!

This weeks skirmish:

Thieves Guild
Seekers
Order of the Red Erisim

Have the Thieves avi, so for me it is a choice between the other two.

Hmm, I like Seekers for the book boon, it will be a good way for new pet to quickly gain Intelligence.
Also Order has the RQRequest Boon, which I really liked using last time.

I need to even up battles against Theives and Seekers, but not Order. At the same time, though, the only Boon I could see using for the Order is the Cartogriphication, since I'm definitely not cracking one of my fortune cookies right now. I know I'd use Cheaper by the Dozen if we go with Thieves, and Bank Bribery if we go with Seekers - both are quick and easy, which if I can battle this time, I know I'd want quick and easy next week (assuming I can even take advantage of them).

However, my opinion should probably be taken with a grain of salt, as honestly, I'm hoping I can't battle this time around. Realllllllly hoping. Basically, I'll see where I am on Wednesday night, and sign up if nothing else in life has changed.

I'm feeling nostalgic, so I joined my original faction. We seek truth, justice, and victory!

Well, I jumped on the bandwagon.

Sigh. Was really hoping I wouldn't be battling this time around. Guess that's not gonna be the case. I'll get in what I can tomorrow.

ETA: Got at least 50 wins in on each of the bosses. Turns out, I have absolutely no fights against the smaller thieves. Not planning on changing that this weekend, at least. Will try to get more wins in if possible, but not today.

I got in 100 easy wins against the 35 hp challengers. I hope to be doing mighty wins by the next skirmish.

I choose the Book Smarts boon. It is a nice fun boon for my new pet and a very quick way to gain intelligence.

I went with the bank bribery boon because I won't be home often enough to spin the wheels enough to make that boon worth it. And bank bribery doesn't require my scattered brain to do anything, which is helpful.

I only got in ~127 wins due to the site being lagful and miserable during the only two times I had to really crank out the wins (Friday evening and Sunday morning) -- I had to stay up past bedtime to get most of the wins last night.

Definitely went with Bank Bribery. Nice and easy, which is exactly what I need right now.

I wouldn't mind trying for Brutes, as I have the other 2 avatars, but I am happy with the bandwagon.

Last boon was fun. I raised Intelligence from Clever (8 books read, unsure of the actually number, but it was under 60), to ULTIMATE GENIUS (591), with only 191 books read.

The only ones I need to "even out" are the Brutes. At the same time, Sway and Thieves both have "easy" boons to use (stock market and bank bribery) which would be preferable as I have family in town next week and will not have time to do the wheels boon for brute squad.

However, I have no clue how much time I'll have to do any battling this time - or any of the ones in the foreseeable future for that matter - though I'll definitely try to do more than the minimum either way. Things have been fluctuating a lot as far as when naps line up and when they don't....so who knows.

I don't have home internet access right now, and to top it off, my laptop's inverter (which makes the screen work) died on Saturday, which means it's temporarily more of a desktop than a laptop (so I can't buy things like internet access and a new inverter at the library, because I don't trust their computers to be secure with my financial info...). So I'd obviously prefer either the bank or stock market boon, since even if I manage to order internet tomorrow (from a friend's computer), it probably won't be set up before the weekend. Other than that, I don't have much of a preference.

ETA: This might be my last time on a computer before the skirmish starts since tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, so I went ahead and joined the Sway, since they always seem to win when they're up (because they've got so many good boons).

So, Sway it shall be.

Ohhh, I feel like I have betrayed my bandwagon! Although I usually go with everyone, I have decided to go with the Brutes due to the fact that I need the avatar/site theme.

Boons would be good, but I can't really take advantage of any of them due to lack of funds (can't really afford to restock or buy stocks every day and bank bribery is useless to me).

Bummer that you didn't join us, Daze, but I don't blame you since you're going for the avvies.

I managed to get in some battling this afternoon while naptime happened (at the same time!). Not going to have time to get anymore done this time around, but I did a fair amount. Got my "evening up" done on the Brutes - though I was lucky that I only had 3 opponents to worry about for that this time (one of which was the boss), instead of all 5. For some reason, I was already at even 50's on the higher 2 non-boss dudes. That leaves just the Seekers that have ugly numbers now.
