I am probably totally wrong, but I took the number off http://www.neopets.com/topgames.phtml and decided that was how many times the game was played each day.

Point, but is that the score from the 3 times you can submit a score ot countless? Now I think I was totally off on my answer. =/

I think that number counts multiple score sends (3 times, I mean) as well. After all, if it doesn't, the question'd be pretty unfair...

that number is different from the number on the side of the game page for meerca chase where it says number of plays today too its very confusing, there must be a way of knowing the answer for sure though...

Imagethankyou silja for the set, youre the best!

to get an accurate answer, you actually have to take note of the popularity (number of plays per day) every day of the past month..i am setting the number of plays per day at 1.5m.

hence my estimate is 1.5m x 31/100k x500

I guessed the average number per day to be about 1.3 mill (as per the current number of plays) although I'm not sure if the figure for today might be slightly altered as its a featured game. Ah well *crosses fingers*

What I did was I took the number of times it was played in one day, and multiplied that by the days in the month of swimming (which I don't know, so I just estimated thirty)... I hope that was right... does the conundrum answer have to be exact? or can it be ballpark?

July has 31 days :( And I think the number has to pretty much be exact...

It was totally inflated yesterday as it is the featured game. I will wait till tomorrow before I submit my answer.

Cool Negg!!??!! I am winning this one :P

Well, the problem seems to be that we are going for a very literal answer, whereas we know that past Lenny Conundrums have been very sneaky, using other information. Still, we don't know how many game plays there have been, so we evidently need to use other information.

I do not think we are expected to know the exact number of play in July due to two reasons:

- the competition won't end till around 3 weeks later (perhaps to let us observe the number of daily play for the game)
- the total number of play will be divided by 100,000, which basically says we only need to guess correctly up to 50k

In the past, the questions are very precise. We need to get the correct answer down to the last digit.

The only question I have is: should we deduct one day from July due to the glitches towards the end of the month? o_O

I don't understand how anybody can solve this, but the last two digits are definately zeros.

Hmm...if the number doesnt have to be rounded...you could just multiply by 200 from the start

I have a dumb question. Why does it say Meerca Chase score? Shouldn't it be scoreS? Shouldn't there be an S on the end of score? It says score a couple of times in there.

It says score sends.

Its not about what you do, but about how you go on doing it.

Hmm... the question says "score sends" and not "Plays", while the stat on the Meerca Chase page says "plays." I don't know about you, but I don't send the score every time I play. o_O
