I gave it a red-hot go and got a highscore for Chad. :)

Tried for AAA but could only make 7650.

I feel your pain Siniri, I am also having mouse issues, as I had to buy a new one a few weeks ago and I don't really like it. It actually turns itself off after 8 minutes of non-use. A good feature but I always forget and swear at it before I get it to work. LOL.

I'm with Daze in going with Abi on Tanagrams as my highest is 75 under Chadley. I suppose I could play several times to beat Chadley, but my "quick" 2,375 score will do enough to maintain Silver. This game takes too long for my allocated time today :/

I went with the Tangram Bento Bowl for the day-of prize :)

P.S. I'm finally caught up :)
P.P.S. I went for Chadley on Skirmish. It took a few games to remember the strategy: Get Xweetok the blue potion in 2 or less moves. Kill the Gelert, let the Kougra attack the Xweetok (and die) in their next move. Then kill the Eyrie with the Xweetok. Same strategy in all 3 levels. Less moves = higher score.

Play in normal mode; you can get a higher score than in hard mode. AAA's score requires you to leave 1:42 on the clock for each puzzle (with 5 seconds of buffer). The best I've done is a 1:43 for the first puzzle, but I completed others perfectly and only got a 1:39 to 1:41. And a single slight misalignment or dropping of a piece (which seems to happen randomly) completely ruins any chance. And you have to know all puzzle's single solution perfectly out of all possible solutions. Not sure I could do it even if I tried, but I like the game, so I'll probably send 2 more scores today, at least, and see how I do. (My high score is 54 seconds shy, which is a lot of ground to make up).

Mouse problems are no fun. Hope the cleaning cleared things up permanently! Daze, I think I'd probably swear at my mouse, too, if it turned itself off.

Congrats on catching up, Blue!

After getting a few irritatingly close scores (the worst of which being a 3099...seriously?!), I finally eeked by AAA's score with a 3102. He gave me a Court Dancer Plushie. Meh.
I actually took the movement increase, but I just realized I forgot to switch from my labbie to my battle pet as active first. Doh! Ah well. So much for that.

Only a week left - and I've got company from Thurs-Sun during it. Hopefully I'll still be able to get Chadley's scores at least while they're here. I guess we'll see. Some of the upcoming games scare me.

I've bought all the Abi prizes I didn't already have, except that silly Jazan and Nabiles Memory Book. It's ridiculously expensive compared to the AAA team challenge prize. I guess I ought to get it today, though, since it'll be unobtainable after today.

I got my highest score on Tangrams, 2605. I probably could have got Chad's score, but I don't have much time to day to keep trying.

This page shows where to put the pieces, I have it opened up in one window and my game in another and fit them both on my screen.

I took the movement as well. Weird choice but it is the one stat my pet hasn't maxed out in.

Thanks for the Tanagram link. What irks me most about Shenkuu Tanagram is TNT's insistence on their solution as the only solution. For example, this one:

Day 14: Magax Destroyer II (Double Dare)


Chad: 2,200

:D Another game I can actually beat AAA on.

Tips:

- Type xagam to restore health to full.

- Take your time. To beat AAA you'll need to almost complete the game fully.

Points needed per level (minus any jububs) -
1: 180
2: 400
3: 660
4: 960
5: 1,300
6: 1,720
7: 2,220
8: 2,800
9: 3,460
10: 4,280

- Jubjubs: they can come up from behind as well as in front. Worth 1 point each, but they appear randomly throughout the game (and the extra points can be all the difference at trophy time).

- Leave one scorchio behind (keep a check of your score, they are worth 10 points), to make sure you have killed all the cybunnies and can find any jubjubs. If you kill all the scorchios first, the level ends.

- Floating skulls: recover some lost health. Only available in levels 1 - 7, so try and keep your health code for level 8+.

- When cybunny turns in to Nox you can get hit by a fireball. This does not take life, but you cannot fire while you covered in fire. Just fly backwards a little way and recover.

- Health refills at the start of every level.

*sigh* If I'd realized I'd eventually need an avatar score for AAA, I'd have not gotten the avatar sooner. I finished the game with a 4295 -- one shy of even making it onto the high score table. This game is just tedious, not hard (it takes nearly an hour to beat AAA).

I didn't take a single health loss in all 10 levels. The level wraps around itself, so to systematically make sure you've checked the whole thing, I like to flip around at the beginning and kill any jubjubs or noxes to the left. Once I see a scorchio to the left, I ignore it, flip around, and fly right, killing everything in my path until I have one scorchio remaining. Then I flip around again and make sure there are no stray mini jubjubs or noxes left (it's a bit boring, keeping an eye out -- you'll fly for a really long time through empty space) before killing the scorchio when he appears again on the left.

As soon as I see an arrow, I flip around, then turn again and shoot the buggers while they're still off-screen (or mostly off-screen). Just keep staying in place (by flipping around again and again) until you get them all. That way, nox hopefully won't ever change out of his cybunny form.

Great Guide, Daze!

Two more tips:

- Cybunnies go up/down much slower than the Scorchios, so if you watch the green arrow you can tell which one is which before they appear on the screen.

- After any kill, go back other way to recharge fully

This game does take forever, though...

Tally-ho. 45ish minutes later, I finished the game, got the avvie (I'd never played this one all the way through, it's so boring and long), and beat AAA. Wahoo.

Also, has anyone else played Kiko Match lately?

Crap. 45 minutes? Makes sense. I had to bail out on level 7 this morning after playing 20 minutes to avoid being late to work :o
I may just go for AAA if I can block out 50 minutes today. Not entirely likely, but possible.

Not so much on Kiko Match. For me, I can already predict that Kiko Match will be an Abi day.

I'm more talking about how Kiko Match seems kinda messed up right now. I heard it earlier only had 5 levels, but when I played it just a bit ago, it had regular levels...but the scores were going crazy out of this world. I didn't send my score, as I was afraid it'd be abusing a glitch. I hope if they decide to use it, they have it settled out and the scoring correct...and that Abi, Chadley, and AAA all have reasonable scores based on however the game is currently scored.

Pickles, I decided to try KM to see what you were getting up to. I just finished round 9 with 45 seconds to spare and am already at 1495 points. My high score is allegedly 715. The high score table has the top gold as a 1237. Is this what you're getting at? Is there some bug? Or will my sent score suddenly get sliced in third or something? I'm going to finish the game and send, because I haven't cheated, and it's been behaving normally (except for the score being unusual).

ETA: Never mind, Pickles posted while this one was (I thought) posting. Round 10 gave me another 400 points. Not going to send -- the timer must be broken (69 seconds left? no way). It's a pity though, because I can usually get 1k worth of points in the game.

ETAA: I used a real timer. It gave me 4:15 for round 13, which is way too much time. I finished with over a minute left, and I was going pretty slowly. Round 14 gives me 0 seconds to complete it. Going to click okay just for giggles, then quit without sending.
