Kougra 2 Won!

I like number 2 but I think that may just be because it's something besides the dull face on pose that they use for every single pet.

I really think there needs to be more movement in the neopets base poses

That said i think i'm going to think about it for a little bit (i also like 4 and 5)

I wonder if a vote of kougra owners would turn out significnatly different than a general vote?

Here's #1:


This one is my favorite, because it looks like the kougra many of us know and love, but it's been shaded, the paws "rounded" and the look slightly softened, but in a good way. Now look at the eyes on the original, #1 and #5...

To me, the eyes on #5 are really weird! I think they're very buggy. I don't think I want to know what that kougra just saw!

This is just "too" cute, and it's the one the people who have baby kougras are unhappy about. It also just looks unfinished, like they made a preliminary sketch and didn't have time to clean it up and finish it.

This one I could deal with, it's at least more "mature" looking than the current revamp, and it seems to be more in proportion than the new, current kougra. The more I look at that, the more I find myself liking this version. This guy has that cat that ate the canary look.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what that's supposed to be. It's not a kougra, it's some kind of weird morph or something. Look at all the other drawings, then this one again. The stripes on the forehead aren't even right...the proportions are wrong, the chest too narrow to be a cat creature, the nose way too wide and there's something about the mouth that isn't quite "there".

I'm sorry, but if #2 wins they might as well leave the kougras exactly as they are now, because in my opinion #2 looks like what they were going to revamp to, to begin with. And well, #2 actually looks more kittenish than that. They all seem a little more kittenish, except for #1. The only reason I don't vote #1 is because I never liked that pose much. Too much head and front legs and not enough of the rest of the body showing.

#6's face is too rounded or something. It looks more like a teddy bear. It would be cute if they made a bear type pet, but it doesn't really look like a kougra to me. Maybe it is just a sketch, but at that angle and the way it is nose is more rounded, it just seems more like a bear.

Everconfused, you could've simply gotten one of the other Kougra colours, since none of the painted ones have been udpated, to compare the poll ones to the old one.

My comments on each of them:

1 - I think you know my views on this already. I will not see my Kougra remain old while the rest of the Neopets move forward.

2 - The more I look at it, the more I dislike it. Sure, it's fine, but something about it bugs me now. Why did I vote for it? Still one of the bette ones though. (Go even numbers).

3 - Do they learn nothing? A gag pet never means anything good!

4 - It' nice, but to me, it seems a little squished... Still one of the better ones.

5 - Might as well just keep what they have now if this wins.

6 - Most realistic of the bunch. I don't see how people think the face looks weird. Maybe I'm missing something? It needs more stripes though.

When it all is over, I'm hoping that it's not #2 or #6 (#3 doesn't even deserve mention, but.. NO). 1, 4 or even 5 I could live with over the current revamp. Though #5, I don't think I'd want to spend too much time feeding/playing with a pet that stared at me like I was a bug or something...

Glad someone understands . I just voted for 6 though in my secondary account. I'm not as picky as you though, I could live with any of them, just not 1 (maybe the fact that it looks to manly affects me as well, considering mine is a girl). 3 is not going to win (well it might, but it won't actually happen) so there is no need to even think about it. It just sucks that it is taking away from actual votes.

Probably. It wont match the new look. None of them have the same oval head.

I dont want 2 to win. I think it is very adorable,but its not a Kougra..I still think 4 is the best. Doesnt it look like independant and proud,like you think a Kougra would be? I'd even settle for a mix of 4 and 6/5,really.

Number 2 shouldn't win, it is worse than the current one! If you people want a cute little kitten pet then get an Aisha. Kougras are supposed to be like Cougars *throws a brick through a window*
Number 1 should win. The reason I got a Kougra was because I thought "Wow, a cool looking strong tiger!" not "Aww a fwuffy lil kitten!" Maybe even number 4. 5 just looks like a ghost and 6 looks like a dog.

But why do they waist their time putting duds like 3 in? It makes it an unfair vote, if they didn't have it then people would vote the one they truely want to win.

I voted #4. I don't know how people can see it looks squished... it looks perfectly fine to me. Sorta like my cat - just cartoony and bright yellow!
