i seem to remember hearing somewhere that if you feed a poisonous jelly to your pet, it will get whatever illness that the jelly gives (i believe it's neopox?) and that the cure for that illness is pretty low. you may want to look into that.

interesting.. i didnt know that poisonous jelly actually gave your pet an illness... i'll remember that

It used to be harmless up until a few months ago. Someone submitted a question regarding the jelly to the editorial of the NT and neopets agreed that it would make more sense if they made your pett sick and thenchanged that.

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

In addition to the healing springs, the WOE also can completely heal your active pet. I have had it happen on several occasions.

So you might want to check out the WOE as often as you can--every two hours.

Go the the Deserted Fairground, and try to give them Neopox or some other disease that is cheap to cure!

FYI, someone stated the healing springs is every 30 minutes, but actually it's every 20 minutes. My pets have never had a disease longer than 5 days without being healed by the springs. Try to be patient, and don't visit your quick ref.

Yes the WOE can heal, good reminder!

Wow. I really hate how stupid some people can be. Obviously neopets is going to make it where your pet gets sick after you ask that. I'm hoping that no one writes about the Bilge Dice glitch where you don't have to pay the first time you play. It's only a matter of time, though.
