The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

I'm probably going to go see this when it comes out. For graet lulz. And sparkling. And to see Alice Cullen pwn the shiznazzle out of everyone.

Me thinks it is already out.

Saw the movie last night, and I now understand the swoonage over Robert Pattinson.
Im not bashing trying the actors here but the acting was terrible *COUGHkristenstewartCOUGH*
I did after all enjoy the movie for the lulz, and I will most certainly buy it on DVD just so I can sit at home and laugh even more, but the special effects were horrendous. SERIOUSLY.
Other than that, I don't think Pattinson should be blamed for anything, he embodied a hundred something year old virgin vampire boy perfectly.
Nuff said.
Oh and y'all should see
this

What was wrong with the acting!! I thought it wasn't THAT bad. And special effects weren't that bad either.
The only criticism I had was that the fight scene was short. Not in action but rather that a fight happened... And then that was it. Movie over.

It's been two day and I've devoured the second an third book. One more to go but my sister is reading it and she reads so darn slow.
Couple of comments.
The books are ending too nicely... Meyer should not be afraid to kill off core characters. It would make the books way more devastating.
Secondly... She should totally go for Jake. Edward is way weird and she is so dependent on him it's ludicrous. My sister really objects every time I bring up this point. She thinks their relationship is cute.
I find it interesting how the book shows the other side of commonly dark themes... Like dependent relationships etc.
Interesting... Very interesting. And compelling.

YES! They fired Hardwicke!
I loved the movie and all, but they were right to get a diffrent director. She's great and all, but she doesn't know how to do action.
They better pick another woman though, to replace her.

Really? Jake disgusts me in the third book.
@ Katherine: What made Catherine (hah!) cool was that she was an accessible director. I think she really helped make Twilight a success because she was willing to be with the fans and not act like a pretentious director. As for her directing... she did what she could with what she had. If anything, the screenwriter should be fired.

Come on. Jake was depressed, and he handled it the best way he could. Not to mention that he was pulling extra shifts and going extra miles to ensure Bella's safety.
What can you expect? The poor guy is in love with the girl.

I'm not sure that forcing himself on Bella was the best way to go about things. Sick.
Edward, of course, was no better. Unhealthy relationships ahoy!

Heh, I wish the whole production team would be fired, and replaced.
And Jacob is win, but Edward is EPIC WIN. Except in New Moon, where the things reverse until Eclipse.

Some good news, Taylor (the guy who plays Jacob) is going to be replaced for the next film.
And some not so good news, the director of the Golden Compass is rumored to sign on the next two Twilight sequels.

Well I've never seen The Golden Compass, so I don't really have an opinion. I just hope he isn't a prude.
As for the Jacob replacement, that is annoying.

My opinion of "The Golden Compass": Casting was nice, effects were nice, but if you haven't read the book you wouldn't have the SLIGHTEST idea what was going on due to how much stuff was removed from the book.
