Execution, Day 8 --
Once again, the flash brought the group to the gazebo. Erwit Mayesti sighed. “No majority again, hmm?” She looked at the group, and then frowned. “Where's Jasujo?”
Miyu pointed up at her. She was still hanging up in the air, as if she was still on the ledge. “How's it hangin', Jas?” Miyu asked.
“Eh, it's alright. A little creepy though... it's as if I can still feel the ledge, but nothing is underneath me. I'm not liking the breeze much, either,” Jas told them.
Erwit Mayesti blinked, and shrugged. Once again she threw out this sticks – though this time there was more of a myriad of colors, and not as many of a single one. Erwit Mayesti took at Twizzler's die and tossed it. Everyone watched as it landed on a yellow stick, unsure of what it meant.
Erwit frowned. “That's Jas's vote.”
The brownie who was holding todays “treat”, a baked apple, looked up at Jas uncertainly. He climbed up as high as he could and stretched just as far, but couldn't reach Jas.
Erwit Mayesti sighed. “That's fine. It seems as if you can't reach her. I'll just try again.”
So she picked up the die and tossed it again. This time, it landed on a purple stick. “That is averly's stick,” Erwit told them.
Grateful, the little brownie hopped down and rushed over to averly. averly, though suspicious, felt she was tough enough to handle whatever the apple held and took a huge bite. As soon as the first bite went down her throat, she screamed in pain and a burst of flame flew out of her mouth.
Erwit Mayesti tsked. “Oops! Did I not tell you? Instead of a little bit of cinnamon and sugar, I accidentally baked it with some of the spiciest peppers found in the world. Sorry!”
averly was put up for execution, but survived.

Night Scene, Night 8--
Twizzler decided she'd skip past the boring entry of just falling asleep and hearing the scream, so she decided she would stay awake until she heard the scream. Yes, she thought, it was much different that way. And preferable, because then she wasn't so groggy from sleep, and would be able to react faster. To what, she did not know, but at least she'd be able to do it faster.
So when the scream came, she was ready! She was out of her tent fast as lightning, and running towards where it had come from. Unfortunately, she was still just a tad slow... she found Dyl with a lot of munchmarks on him, but alas, no one was around.
Dyl glared at Twizzler. “I am not a midnight snack, thank you very much!”
Twizzler blinked. “...I know that.”
“Well, whoever attacked me obviously didn't,” Dyl mumbled. He stood up and wandered off to find the brownies.
Twizzler shrugged, and decided that she'd try to go back to sleep. As she was walking back to her tent, however, she spotted May. May was leaning against a tree, intensely reading a book. Because Twizzler was such an avid reader herself, she was curious to know what May was reading that would keep her up late into the night.
“Hi, May! What are you reading?” Twizzler asked, cheerfully.
May ignored her, leaning further into her book.
“Um... May?” Twizzler asked.
May turned the page again, still ignoring Twizzler. Her nose touched the page she was reading.
“Hey! May!” Twizzler called, desperate. Something wasn't right.
May went to turn the page again, but as she did so, she started being pulled into the book. Slowly she was sucked into it. Twizzler panicked, and called for help – but no one came. Finally, the book flopped onto the ground, still open, and a ghost-like male rose up out of it.
“Where's May?!” Twizzler asked him. He didn't answer.
Instead, he stated who he was. “I am Sigurd. I could make someone forget who they were originally going to target... with what? I forget.” Once that was said, he started fading towards the Book of Myths.
Twizzler started to pace, frantic and wondering what to do with the book. She decided she really didn't want to read it any more, though. As a familiar tune rose in the night air, she decided that perhaps she should just leave it there where it was, and tell everyone else to leave it alone later.
Pink walked by on her return from wherever it was she went, so Twizzler told her about the book. As pheonix wandered off following the music, Twizzler told him as well.
Dyl was munched on, but survived.
May was sucked into a book, and killed. She was Sigurd.
Pink has returned.
pheonix has been lured away. He may not vote or use role powers -- however, he may not be targeted, either.

North (5) -- Bruces Galore, jellyoflight, ckillor, Urthdigger, Syrill
Labyrinth, Day 9 --
Party 1:
Everyone was chatting happily while waiting for pipsqueeek and Chipper to return. When at last they did, everyone politely stopped chatting and waited for what they would be told.
Chipper started. “Well, it started off really mild at first, see --”
Pipsqueeek interrupted. “And then we got to this path in the road.”
“So, if we wanted, we could go North,” Chipper intercepted again.
“Anyways,” pipsqueeek said, taking over again, “we didn't want to go any farther, but we did see something interesting.”
“Up ahead of us,” Chipper cut in, “There was a huge beast. We fled before it saw us, so we couldn't identify it, but...”
“We think it was guarding something,” pipsqueeek finished, breathless.

Party 2:
Erwit Mayesti poofed in quite quickly. In fact, the truth was, she hadn't bothered to go to the first party because she knew the scouts would just return and give their reports. So she was there to see Jas start to fall from her “invisible” ledge.
“Umph!” Jas said as she landed. “I guess I must have shifted a little, and missed the real ledge when we came back.
“Guess so,” Erwit Mayesti noted, one of her eyebrows raising. She then turned to the rest of the group.
“Where to today?”
“North!” ckillor stated, his voice sure.
Erwit Mayesti shrugged, but motioned him to take the lead. So, back they went – north, then west, then north, and west again. When they were back to where Syrill had knocked over the statue, everyone held him back so he wouldn't knock it over again, splitting them once more.

Okay, the map really confuses me. I know we went a different way than what I saw from up on the ledge, though.
I can see where we should go next. From here, we should go south, then south, then south again," Jasujo told her.
I think that is the right way, as the person who ledged me contacted me and said it was a power to see where we should go next. I think we should go the way I viewed, but I'm feeling directionally confused.
Here is the post for reference.Okay, to get back to the way someone's power helped me view, I think maybe we need to backtrack and go south, then west. That should bring us to where I was tossed on the ledge. Then go south three times, as I saw from up on the ledge. I think? lol
I guess I'm going to vote South then.
Labyrinth: Go SouthI wanted to mention, as someone voted for him, StuMan has shown me his role and it looks believable. I do not think he's evil. Hopefully someone will be around tomorrow to help figure that out, though. lol

As a note, you've already backtracked, so the directions given yesterday are correct again. =P
Also, all night results have been given out, I believe.

This isn't looking good but we still have hope.
Dead players may have ONE lynch kill. However, to do this at least 15 players must be dead, and 95% of them must agree on a person to lynch. To vote on the Lynch kill, use this format: Lynch: Person B

Because if this beastie is guarding something, it could be treasure.
Though I don't want the big beastie to attack anyone. Can we send out a warrior to battle/kill it?
Lure it with poison laced meat, perhaps?

Okay, so then we are back at the place where I was on the ledge? Then I say we go south three times.

Urthdigger finds that someone has given him a black seed during the night, and seeing nothing better to do (And what with him being a farmer and all), plants it. It soon grows into a tree, only to wither away when he picks the fruit. Taking a quick glance at it, he realizes the one who eats this fruit will become aware of any nearby traps.
