Execution, Day 1 -- Day was starting to end, and it was hard to tell the golden light from the sunset from the golden light of the magic, but everyone knew when they had been transported back to the center of the maze. They also noticed that 15 tents had been set up, and all but one (Twizzler's tent, presumably) had open door flaps that revealed the baggage inside each of them. It seemed they had been made for two people to room in, each. Too bad it had been raining all day. Now everyone's stuff was soaked. Sure, it had stopped raining and the clouds were starting to clear now, but no one really looked forward to the prospect of sleeping in a cold, wet sleeping bag. “Hmm, looks like the Brownies let loose set up your tents for you,” Erwit Mayesti commented, amused. “Helpful critters, aren't they? Anyways, if you would please gather in the wooden gazebo...” Everyone quickly moved inside the wooden gazebo. It was rather large, and there was enough room for everyone to sit. Erwit Mayesti stood in the middle, however, walking along and looking everyone in the face. “Well! I can see from your looks that you didn't make a decision tonight. Tsk, tsk. Well, as it's the first day, I shall have to forgive you. In fact, I kind of guessed something like this would happen. So while the brownies were here, I had them gather some apples from the orchard and had them make hot apple cider...” “Ooh, that sounds good! I love cider,” pheonix commented. He high-fived the person sitting next to him. Erwit smiled her chaotic smile as exactly thirty tiny brownies scrambled in from outside. All but one was holding a large glass of cider. The one that wasn't holding a glass of cider scurried up to Erwit and handed her a piece of paper. She frowned as she read it, and then nodded. “You've got it handled, I presume?” The brownie bowed low, and then made a motion to the other brownies. Each one walked over to one of the players and handed them a glass. After everyone (or almost. There were a few certain people who did not trust anything to do with apples in a place where both Twizzler AND Erwit Mayesti were present, and refused to accept the yummy drink) had taken a few deep swallows, Jasujo looked up. “Oh, before we forget, Erwit... what was that note about?” she asked. Erwit Mayesti studied Jasujo carefully. “Oh, you'll find out in about three... two...” Before she could reach one, Jasujo fell forward, clutching her stomach. “Urgh! I feel horrible. I think mine was poisoned...” Chaos took over the group, and they rushed forward to take a closer look at Jasujo. (There was at least one shouted “HAH! I told you so!”) After a few minutes of silence except for Jasujo's moans of pain, Jasujo started to straighten up. She grabbed hold of the nearest person and propped herself up, sweating, but otherwise seeming alright. Erwit Mayesti frowned, and feigned an innocent look. “Well, Jasujo, it lookslike you survived... the best thing for you now is probably to get to bed.” Just as a small group of people began to help Jasujo over to her tent, the golden light blinked and Twizzler was there once again. “Well?” she asked, putting her hands on her hips. “What are you waiting for? We all need to get to bed! Chop chop!” With that, she started moving towards her tent. As she zipped it open, she stared in surprise. “What's this?” she asked as she saw the various items inside it, such as a bed, TV, and laptop. She then glanced over at Syrill, who gave her a cheeky grin. Twizzler sighed and walked in the tent, immediately beginning to rearrange her sleeping bag and items so she would be comfortable. “I'm sorry to tell you, Syrill, but I don't think there's cable,” she mumbled as she dropped off to sleep. --------------------------------------------- Jasujo was put up for execution, but survived.
