The biggest mistake I made, was creating a Neohome not realizing the only benefit it would serve was a possibly trophy. At the time I created it, I had very little nps and definitely not enough to create a trophy worthy home. I thought that my pets would actually get to play in their home and all that good stuff, I was soooooooo excited when my 'construction' time was up.

Other than that, my typical mistakes were selling items for far cheaper than they were worth or way more expensive, because I kept going by what Neopet's price was.

I don't even want to think of how many lucky people got cheap treasure map pieces, and how broke I was at the time.

:) Ahh the life of a newbie

It was around Feb-March 2002 and pbs were way cheaper back then. I meant to sell it for 27k, which was how much it was worth. I forgot a few zeros though and accidentally sold it for 27 nps! I'm still angry about that to this day.

Well, 27000NP is not much... not as much as missing out on a potential 18million :cry:

Slightly bitter, I see. :hug:

I don't remember any major mistakes, although I regret not stocking up on neggs and map pieces when they were cheap, and not playing that crazy treasure hunt game every day.

Ah, the old days. I remember the days when the lab maps were like 5k, and now they're 50k. Somebody must've acciadentally added four extra typo zeros and now the price's infated madly. I got my full lab set for 75k back then in the TP....ah...the old days when they were cheap. Now they're like 450k :o o_O

I like pickles, I like cheese, I like climbing lobster trees!

My biggest mistake was trying to buy everything possible.
My neodeck. Now currently sold, and "size" wasted.
My neohome. Currently demolished. all "insurances" to the max.

jeeze was that a waste of money...

I got a free stamp from one of those sponsor offers (along with some others) so I shoved it into my stamp album for lack of anything better to do (not that I collect them or anything). Turned out to be an unbuyable stamp. ;.;

There is no good or bad side, just two sides holding different views.

I've done that too. They should put warnings on them so you know you can't take them out once you put them in lol

I was such a dumb neopian in the early days.

After first hearing of restocking, I went to the battle shop and bought everything I could, wating 20,000 NP. Checked shop wiz, and realized that most of the stuff I bought was worth less than 500 NP. Ouch. <_>
