For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Unlike a teacher who just hands you the material in a dry and monotone manner, you mean? Lucky you.

Very much like my Chemistry teacher last year.
I hated hearing her talk...and that's alllllllllllllllllllllllll she did.

Well count yourselves lucky that your teacher was actually around and didn't just give you a textbook, and go to their office.

'Xactly. Or like my tenth grade History teacher, who wrote the assignments on the board and then read a newspaper all hour. I don't think he said one word to us the entire semester.

Your 10th grade History teacher at least gave history assignments - we had no homework all that year, and the teacher only discussed Yoda.

Zany, that is. Like my Yoda impression?

A teacher I have this year gets off topic a LOT.

BYERS GAH!
My drama teacher Mr. Byers can make me nervous as hell when it's just him watching me perform. I don't know what it is, I'm fine infront of everyone, but when he's there my knees begin to wobble and shake....

'Cause you know you probably have the harshest critic you're likely to get in front of you? Well, better get used to it, I guess. How nervous will you get when you're going to be auditioning for a part?
Tue Sep 16, 2008 9:23 pm
Don't remind me of auditions. I'm so nervous for mine, and it's in January!

Eh, I'm not into school plays. Last year we did the Ugly Duckling. It was spectacularly crap.

For real? I did two school plays in high school, and they were all original pieces. While they weren't top-notch, I'd say they were at least a cut above the garbage you usually get served at school plays. We actually had a director (a teacher) who took a few months to write up a decent piece, and cast each and every person into the role most fitting for him or her.

Gosh, everyone's school but mine does school plays.

Honestly my knees only shake infront of him when I actually audition. Any other time I'm perfectly fine. I'm weird like that.....I have a drama callback tomorrow so hopefully I have a good part in the Wizard of Oz
