Hmmn... I bet they could slip an extra image of a Shenkuu player into the current theme without disruption.

Anyway, they released the MVPs of the cup and I'm a little bit irritated at how much they hosed Shenkuu. After the last match of the tournament, Shenkuu's Mirsha Grelinek was the top goal scorer of the tournament. She didn't win MVP, that went to a Roo player. No offense to Roo, but Shenkuu and Krawk Island had players that had higher Goals Per Game.

MVP was a sham. It's the cup results, just replace team name with main player of said team.

this is the first time I didn't participate in a plot. it's hard to break away from a game i've been playing so long - a game that claimed most of my college free time. it's sad but i think i'm finally beginning to let go after almost 8 years.

Phooey on MVP- what's the point of the whole "Most GPG" and "Highest scorer" stats then? Grelinek deserved than one. Zo Junior too- he was top goal scorer for a long, long time- through majority of the Cup, in fact. And no special mention of Shenkuu for clawing its way from the bottom bracket to the final 4?
Look more like "quick, copy-paste the players from the top teams for our 'awards'" and generic stuff again.

Maybe it's time they retired the cup. It's been three years, and the third isn't so good or fun anymore. Recurring plot/token filler event burn-out, anyone?

I just happened to fall out of Neo halfway though this. I still got a trophy and a nice jersey.

I can't decide what the best use of 24,391 points is. I've bought some of the cheaper prizes with NP, with my plot points I'd just like to invest in something to sell later on. So at the moment it seems like two fire yooyus and the cheaper book will sell best, but I'm wondering if I'm prepared to hang on to them for a while if I'd be better getting one yooyu and both books.

Anyone have any thoughts?

The only thing I could think to check was the price of the Darigan Yooyu against last year's books... 4mill against 110k and 250k- the yooyu wins! But last year there were more expensive prizes than the Yooyu, plus there was more variety, so people were getting other things.

For me the only great thing about ACIII was the fire yooyu being released. I'd wanted one for a good while. (=

Still not keen on the rubbishy medal for anyone who wasn't on a placing team. If ever there was a reason to join a team just because you think it might win that would be it. I wish they'd have participation style medals/trophies for those who played a lot of games but weren't in a 1st, 2nd or 3rd team then the medal as a default for those who played but not as much.

I got to rank 20 and had a 12.1 GPG average, and the best thing I can get is a Fire Yooyu

I guess Im kinda repeating what everyone else said, but I'd have liked something better than the boring medal for my efforts. Putting 'All-Star' underneath it wouldnt take too much effort. Neither would having a little Virtupets logo in the center. I was annoyed last year at the generic medal, but I thought maybe they'd do better this time around.

The flying discs and slushies wouldve done well in the Souvenir Shop they decided to take away and replace with the NC Mall this year. Its like having 32 of the same item taking up space in there. One set of team items is enough as prizes. Maybe more if they did wearable jerseys for each team too, because wearable jerseys are neat. Although they couldve stuck the jerseys in the Souvenir Shop too. The slushies are really ugly. It'd be kinda cool if they matched the flavors with the team. Like Mystery Island Tropical Fruit Slushie or Tyrannian Cheese Omelette Slushie. (Hopefully something more creative than that, but you get the idea.)

My team didnt come in last place again though! My teammates were (for the most part) fun to chat with. We tried to make up silly strategies to trick our opponents, and they didnt work, but it was fun to make the other team worry that they'd lose to us. Stuff like that. I'll still participate next year and hope TNT does a lot better.

What should I get with my 114 left points? Do the flying discs have higher point:NP ratios or do the slushies? And what team should I get for each of those things? I'm only interested in selling.

Haven't checked for a while, but last time I did the flying discs had a higher ratio. Whichever you get, the less successful teams are worth more, don't know how easy they are to sell though.

Is anyone else getting an error when they try to use up the remainder of their points? It keeps saying there was an error and to try again...but it never works.

I haven't tried to claim any yet, but my brother was griping about that last night. He's got 15 points left and is trying to buy one of the 15 points message. He said it's been going on for several days.

I've still got points lying around for all the other events.

Anybody got recent a point/NP ratio list for the prizes? I'm curious to see if it's changed much in these couple of weeks. Normally I'd do it myself, but I've got very annoying Internet problems (loading a page costs about 10 seconds, and that's even without any images)...
