I haven't been able to get on to check. *glare at pteri* But I hope everything is intact. ;.; My precious codestones, faeries, pbs, random crap for pack rat...

I noticed I got logged out of one of my accounts but not the other one. Not sure why. -.0 Think that will have anything to do with it?

*shakes head* Makes no sense whatsover.

By the by, I have been in such shock that I didn't even think to send in a bug report (but won't hold my breath until my stuff returns or I might actually die). Time to write yet another report.

This disturbs me a bit. If the same problems were happening to everyone, the same thing would be happening to all accounts (wow, that was brilliant -.-). However, when different things happen to different accounts, Neopets doesn't tend to be as forgiving. For instance, look at the shop database problem. It didn't affect everyone, and it is still a problem now. Hate to sound pessimistic though...

Hmmm... They seem to know about it now, thankfully. I wanted to see how many things I had collected in around 3 months and found this waiting for me...

ERROR : Sorry, but this section of the site is undergoing a quick fix or revision. We'll get it back up as soon as possible!

Now, the question is, is it a "quick fix" or a "revision" that has the SDB's down?

Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!

Don't worry, they must keep all your stuff in the database even if it crashes. When the petpets dissapeared I got my unpainted one called Padfoot back. I was upset becuase I renamed it to Mechfoot and painted it robot. After a week they actually fixed it and turned it back into Mechfoot. o-o

The point is, the stuff will come back ...eventually XP

I got that too, when I just got worried and decided to check. I'm hoping this means they will fix the problem and all my stuff will be save and sound...

They could have used better wording than "quick fix or revision"--I'd have a little more faith in them if they did.

Although last night when the site came briefly back up, I had no SDB on one account, a full SDB on my second account, and the first page of a third account's SDB, all three SDBs were gone when the site came back online. As far as I know, everyone's SDBs are gone. And have been since when the site came back up around 10 am NST. And everyone has that same message where their SDB should be. My guess is that Neopets took everything down and hopefully is fixing it quickly but not doing a haphazard "quick fix" that results in missing items.

And, my guess, if our SDBs aren't returned intact, there will ba a mass exodus from Neopets--because unlike the shop glitches, TP glitch, and lost item glitches that have occurred from time to time, this one has affected every person that has an account. Think of all of the people trying to get the pack rat avatar. And, my guess, most people have stored all of their valuables in the SDB because it was supposed to be a safe place. Hopefully, Neopets realizes that, won't blow us off once again and tell us to just "suck it up and keep playing."

I don't know if you were around last November when the TP glitch hit, but that was the general feeling of everybody when the glitch hit. Surely, we said to ourselves, they must have a backup. Well, the story from a reliable source was that the server holding the TP info "fried" taking all of the backup with it. Hopefully, Neopets learned a thing or two from that catastrophe and has a backup database on a different server than the ones holding the SDBs. Or there may be no way to get the stuff to come back.

Yeah, hopefully they did. I mean, after November, the PetPet glitch I had was fixed. (Oddly too, becasue I believe I was the only one who had it...along with a Neogarden glitch TNT fixed. o_o)

:ahem: and now, the newest band on Neopia: the great tonU2 and their hit, "Sunday, Glitchy Sunday"

I can't get to my Safety box, either. Well, at least all that down time and now the sdb locking happened on a busy weekend to me. To be safe, I didn't deposit nor touched my shop.
Hope tomorrow things will return to normal

I seem remember somebody on PPT having weird petpet problems too--after pets or petpets had disappeared. I can't for the life of me remember her name was but her petpet returned as a red X with a green apple attached as a petpetpet. And the petpet was suffering from old age. I know I am not the only one to remember this--anyone able to help me elaborate?

EDIT: I remember now--it was HollyPop--the petpet was a broken image and was thirty-some years old and had the cutest little green apple as a petpetpet.

Right I would have to say would be your items in your shop(Making sure you keep the items you want to keep priced at 0 until the SDB returns) (As next to the SDB. Your shop is the second most safest to keep your stuff)

Well that is what I am doing since my SDB is missing.

I am doing that too with my valuables. And also putting them on the TP at ridiculously high prices so no one offers. We are very vulnerable to the pant devil and other bad guys because there is no safe place to stash our stuff anymore.

The stuff I normally would stash away like jellies and omelettes I am putting up for auction--that way I have room in my inventory just in case I happen to find great deals on the shop wiz.

...you mean you still have your fingers after writing bug reports for all your glitches? o_O

And I have a new account so a lot of this cant apply to me... not that I care...

Very funny Mr. Tonu. I still have my fingers but my fingerprints have worn off from all of the typing.
