Petpetpet Habitats - Betatest

Premium players can now betatest the new downloadable game from Neopets.

Petpetpet habitats:

Design you own petpetpet habitats and take care of your petpetpets

Receive a free starter kit which includes a Pinchit, Larninkan, mootix with plenty of resourses, tool, and items

Give your petpetpet resources to make their own items

Best of all your petpetpet habitat still works even when you are offline.

# All Petpetpet Habitat items will be removed from your inventory at the completion of the beta test period. We hope your Petpetpets dont get too attached to them.

# We will reset your Petpetpet Habitat at the completion of the beta test period.

Premium members also have a board for Petpetpet Habitat

This makes my computer lag a LOT

All the items in the game appear in your inventory and count against your 50 item limit

I can't get the transfer to work. I "transferred" through the website, but nothing will show up in my transfer bag, even after logging out and logging back in.

EDIT:
Er...I think it did work, but the transfer bag never showed anything. The items are in my boxes now, though.

My computer lags with the new game as well.

I was never good at this type of game - I am hopelessly lost in how to build my habitat.

My computer doesn't lag, but this isn't really my kind of game. It's really SimAnt/SimCity-esque...It seems like they put a lot of hard work into it. I think people who like this kind of game will really enjoy it.

I'm pretty indifferent to it. I am getting some lag, but it's really not that bad. It is very Simish and I don't think it's something I could play for a while. If it's out for premium beta testing I'm wondering how early this will debut to all of Neopia. o_O

I'm interested in this, I kinda wish I had premium so I could play around with it. Sounds like its life simulator game kind of like Creatures or (the very old) SimLife? If so I may like it.

Yeah. It very much has a Sim kind of feel to it. If you like those, you'll like this. I, however, do not like Sim, and while it's obvious they have put a lot of work into the game, I'm not very interested in it.

I have some lag, but it could be worse. It reminds me of a really slow sim-type game. I'm still trying to figure it out though, hehe. I'm keeping it open to see if I can get anything interesting to happen.

Step 3: We added new FREE Petpetpet Habitat Beta Test items to your inventory. You will need to transfer these items from your inventory to your Petpetpet Habitat. Go to your inventory, click on these items and select "Place in Petpetpet Habitat" to use them in the desktop application.

Step 4: Create and play with your Petpetpet Habitat from your desktop.

Step 5: If you're so inclined, send us some feedback using the Petpetpet Habitats Beta feedback form. We'd like to hear what you think.

Some things to remember:

* All Petpetpet Habitat items will be removed from your inventory at the completion of the beta test period. We hope your Petpetpets don't get too attached to them.
* We will reset your Petpetpet Habitat at the completion of the beta test period.

We recommend the following system requirements for better performance:

* WINDOWS:

o Intel® Pentium® 1GHz or faster processor
o Microsoft® Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4; Windows XP with Service Pack 2; or Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise
o 512MB of RAM

* MAC OS X:

o PowerPC® G4 1Ghz or faster processor or Intel CoreTM Duo 1.83 GHz or faster processor
o Mac OS X v10.4.910 or 10.5.1 (PowerPC); Mac OS X v10.4.9, 10.5.1 (Intel)
o 512MB of RAM
