I align the knuckle of the hand with the line on the poles (or the quiggle's shirt for the rightmost pole)- sorry hard to explain, no screenie - I hit the coconut 80-90% of the time. Mostly just 50np, but I get 300np often enough to make a small profit. So yeah, whether a coconut shakes, falls or whatever is random, but the hitting bit is skill-based.

The trend seems to be coconuts on the periphery are more likely to shake than the one in the middle; small coconut > medium coconut > abnormal elongated coconut

I'll have to try the IE tab. will now stop it with all this browser talk because it is quickly turning into flame bait.

edit #2: ran through other Deserted Fairground activities (bagatelle, cork gun gallery, strength test) before filing a very detailed bug report, and they run fine, Firefox notwithstanding. Hypothesis: something hiccuped when they were transferring Coconut Shy to the new server/s

Fire Fox, root of evil? Give me a break! IE produces shoddy coders because it pats you on the back for doing things wrong... Not to mention everything else that's wrong with it.

IE tab tends to kill my browser and zaps way more memory than Firefox alone does. And last time I used it, I swore it ran the IE cookie set, which would log me into my side account. I'm probably mistaken, though.

Guess I'll just bide my time and keep checking.
