[For people of education-age, obviously.]

I'm an officer in Student Council and SADD, and I am a member of Lifesavers (peer counseling, sort of), Interact (community service), Players With a Passion (also community service), and Spanish Club. :)
(I'm overinvolved, yeah.)

What do you do/what did you do when you were in school?

I think I just got sad realizing that what I'm talking about (high school) was over five years ago. :(

I was in Spanish Club, Science Club, Women's Ensemble (choir), Vocal Ensemble, and the yearly musical. I was also in NHS (National Honors Society, community service club).

In college, I was in Presidential Honors Society (more community service), chorale, and was on a committee for a creative publication of poems, etc. thru the English department.

When I was in school, (long time ago now, gosh!) I just stuck to the Performing Arts clubs.

Let's see....when I was in school, I participated in almost all of the musicals (both on stage and in the pit), I was a member of Natural Helpers and Peer Mediators, and I was the co-president of Students for a Free Tibet.

Ange, I feel ya. I've been out of college for a while myself.
{dredges into memory} Let's see....

When I was in High school, I was in the National Honors Society (until my GPA dropped a hair below 4.0 my last semester and they kicked me out - the day AFTER they took the year book photo :P ). I played in the orchestra (was even librarian for 2 years) and ran cross country and track for a couple years. I was also in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).
Most of the rest of my time was involved in a number of non-school activities, which kept my schedule quite busy, to the point at which I really couldn't join anything else at school or I'd hafta drop something else.

In college, I was part of several musical ensembles (one of which I taught), BSM (Baptist Student Ministries), and two honors societies whose names are insanely long. Oh yeah, and for about 3 weeks, I was part of Mu Phi Epsilon - the music frat\sorority. My stepdad's suitemate had founded the chapter, so my stepdad was telling me all sorts of cool things about it - which I discovered the current members had turned into a mockery, so I was rather disappointed and quit. (Of course, the fact that they'd screwed up and I was going to have to pay dues *again* didn't help in convincing me to stay.)

Oooh...I forgot college things...Um, I wasn't involved with any sororities at school 'cos I thought they were all stupid. I didn't even go to any of the frat parties at my school, though I did party with our sprots teams and the frats at the other university in town. I was a member of two honors societies though...Kappa Delta Pi (education honors society) and Pi Kappa Lambda (music honors society). I was a member of the Honors Program, but I didn't graduate as a member 'cos we had to take three honors courses and there weren't three that interested me :P

Heh, that was my plan. MuPhi wasn't supposed to be a standard frat/sorority - it was supposed to be more of an honors society. Needless to say, that was one of the major changes. As soon as I realized it...I was gone.

I'm only really active in one, MESA. Math Engineering Science Applications or something like that. XD We're doing a project with birds right now -- we incubated some eggs and now have some chicks and two turkeys. The ducks will hatch sometime within the next week. It is very exciting -- and very cute! :D

I'm also kinda in the Medieval club as well. Although, that's really because one of my friends is in it. I'm not really into it and try to find other things to do on those days, haha. Especially because every other week is "fighter practice" and I don't fight. =P

Occasionally, one of my past teachers will drag me into the Computer club to see something cool. And then will try to add me into a project. XD It's pretty funny, actually. Especially because he'll forget I'm a senior and try to put me in projects they have for next year. =P He's a cool teacher though.

At school, I join the community service club, where we sometimes go to old people's homes and help the elderly there. We sometimes work with children with disabilities.

I dislike the activities they offer us to take part in at our school.
And I'm just not social enough to be involved. It's already hard enough for me just sitting through the classes every single day, with a flock of students surrounding me at all times. At the end of the day, I'm just glad to finally get out of there. *shudder*

So, yes, none.

Student Council for the win! *high-fives Bangel*
I'm also in French club, orchestra, and jazz band. French club is the best though because we get to eat croissants and authentic French chocolate for no good reason. :D

My school doesn't allow us to form clubs. I guess they think we're too busy or something? Or maybe they think our arts classes are clubs of their own, in a way. (I go to an arts high school; half of the day is academics, half our arts major- I'm in stage production)

Though my English teacher managed to convince them to let him start a Literary Magazine last year, and I occasionally help out with that if they need me. And then there's yearbook, but I a) am not on its staff and b) have no idea how to join.

:/

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

I didn't attend any clubs back when I was in school. That's pretty much because there weren't any.
Not because they weren't allowed or that there was a lack of interest, but because the whole concept of "clubs" or "after school activities" aren't really known in any of the schools in my country. I actually don't know why.
After school, everyone just went straight home, to a friend, or to the city to hang out. I was happy with it :)

When I was in school I attended youth club and I played football (The US calls it soccer) during the Spring and Autumn terms and rounders during the Summer term (Like baseball with the exception being if you missed the ball a third time you can only go to the first base.)

Another club that I went to was a computer club through only one computer there had internet access back then.

A third one was a sewing class where I made a cuddly toy dog for my sister which my sister still keeps on the shelf in her room.

Finally I used to go to a disco club whilst I was in school. It was regularly held on Wednesdays but when the music turned from being great music (UK Charts music until from the 80s to 1994) being played to awful music (UK Charts music from 1995-onwards) I stopped going, I mean what is the point of dancing to music if you aren't having fun from the music?
