Free 150 NC at NC Mall. But putting it there caused a giant flood of people to go to the NC Mall, which is why they removed it.

Well, I've done all four of those things, and that block is still there on the left side. TNT, I don't need you to hold my hand, thanks.

He said it should be gone in 30 days and/or when all 4 are checked.

I'm guessing it'll be gone in 30 days since I've one all four and the darn thing is still up...

As for the pound, I don't really understand why it would be released for Premium users and not for everyone else...especially considering the fact that Smudge brought up: there are a lot of people who were transferring pets at the time and if the pound is only released to a select number of people, there's a chance their pet won't be there waiting for them when it comes back online.

If this does happen, though, and there's someone on here who doesn't have premium and was in the middle of transferring when the pound came down, I'll go on and adopt and babysit your pet until the pound is released for everyone, when I can return it to you. I have one blank spot on my account.

Pink, I think from what I gathered from Siouxper's post, it was rejected to allow premium users to have that advantage (probably for the reasons you mentioned).

TNT *has* been doing a much better job of communicating lately. I think they must have finally realized that it will make people much happier (probably by lurking here and hearing us gripe about the lack of communication), and have been trying to fix it. I'm personally very happy with this - it's making it start to feel like the earlier days again, even though so much is changing.

And while I don't have any pets in the pound (thankfully), I know my sis will be glad about this - she adopts pets, labs them until they're painted nicely, and then trades out for a new one.

Yeah, I doubt the idea will be approved. If it is, though, they probably won't make pets actually adoptable to prevent unfairness.

Well this is good to hear. It explains why I haven't been able to get that free NeoCash yet, and it's proof that TNT actually does pay attention to the community's needs somewhat.

I was trying to figure out how they might make it "fair" for Premium users to get the pound first, and a terrible thought occurred to me. What if they purged all the currently existing pets from the pound when it reopened?

Someone on Charter said a programmer told them that the pets would still be there when it opened. Not sure on the accuracy of that Neomail though

I have premium and if the pound was open for premium only members first, it wouldn't do me much good as the pet I want on my account is stuck on my non-premium side account. And I doubt they'd let premium users have the first go at the pound pets. I mean, betaing sure. They let us play games before they're released, but we don't get points for them.

I would just love to look at the pound, just to know it wasn't all some crazy dream.

How long has the pound been down? It seems like at least a year.

I think the Pound closed in April of last year?

TNT would never open the pound just to one lot of users. Maybe the intent was to betatest the new setup - have a sneak peek at what the pound was going to look like?

TNT do some silly things sometimes, but they are not purposely stupid. Opening the pound just to Premium players is just a ridiculous notion - the pound is a site-wide feature and allowing one lot of users to have it first, would cause so much uproar, the site would probably crash.

When Premium test games, we get no benefit besides knowing how the game works - the NP feature is turned off. So the only thing we could get out of it, would be to see the new pound and it's features - a lot like how TNT Beta tested the Customisation programme. We had a select few pieces of clothing but could not use them except within the programme.
