Yay for Snowmuncher... one of the few games I'm actually halfway decent at! Got AAA at the first go... actually overshot the points requirement by a fair bit, duh!

It's quite an easy game - my tip is to always keep an eye on your bloated percentage, and don't deviate from side to side picking up gems/toying with the mini snowagers! Just go down - get thee to the bottom of the ice blocks! (especially in the later stages) Also, I find that clearing level 1 with a score in the high 700s/800s is most useful, and a good boost to morale :)

Ugh. My Daily Dare collections page is bugged. I beat AAA at Wingoball yesterday... and now every time I try to collect the prize it reloads the games table. I sent in a bug report... but the way TNT moves, I'll end up just buying the prize rather than collecting it.

first... is the burp code working for you guys? not for me :-(

second... I am only getting two lives!! Talk about buggy! Good thing I scored 3500 anyway!

Finally, I still haven't been able to collect my cooty wars prize :-(

Blah I sooo do not like this game, however I did manage to beat AAA's score :D

The Burp code didn't work for me either, but I did have 3 lives when I started the game.

Here's a really good guide to get the avvie -- after about an hour of practice, I could easily score over 4000NP/game; it's become one of my dailies. For me, the first trick was to learn how to eat so that you could make the 4-plus combos happen, which destroy all those blocks (sometimes resulting in large cascades) -- the trick is to eat down adjacent to a block of the same color, then to the side to make that one fall down, completing the combo. Then I had to work on my speed. Next, I mastered the "eat across quickly and then down" technique -- the trick to knowing how far to go down is to eat past a block of the same color that is above you -- because the same-colored blocks catch each other (so be careful with the gray blocks). If there aren't any same-colored blocks, if you eat down quickly enough, the blocks above the screen usually just disappear. This enables me to get more of the gems and every single bloat-be-gone. Finally, I've learned to watch my time to decide whether I should let my time expire or eat past 100% bloatiness -- usually letting the time expire is the better option.

Note: once you master the 4-plus combo technique, be careful when pairing it with the eat down/across technique; if your combos cause what's above to fall down, you can inadvertently make Dieter go squish. The "buuuurrrrrrrrp" code worked just fine for me 10 minutes ago -- it's 4 u's and 8 r's.

Finally, once you can reach the point where you can clear levels 1 and 2 easily without losing a life (and can also do okay in level 3), try purposefully letting the time run out on level 3 instead of level 2; that'll put you over the score with lives to spare.

Wow, they made this one easier! I'm glad, cause I'm at home sick (ugh) and really needed a game that I didn't have trouble with. Snowmuncher is one of my 3k a day games (when I feel like playing it, at least). 24/24!

For those having trouble, this is what I told my husband (he hates this game) when he asked me how I could manage over 3500 in scores, and apparently it worked for him:
-Get through the first level without losing a life.
-Go through the second level as far as you can, but let the time run out. Make sure to collect all the gems (green and purple) when you can. Do the same thing again. You should have one life left at this point. Don't be afraid to use the burrrrpppppppp code if you need it during one of these runs.
-The third time you do the second level, run through it and make sure you survive. That should put you close to if not over 3500.

My husband is still having trouble with the cooty wars one, too. It keeps reloading the DD page like Matrinka's.

YAY! I should whine about the games TNT chooses more often, I just got 3830 on my ~6th try. But that was uber lucky with getting the potions at exactly 100% 3 times, a bunch of unplanned chain reactions and so forth. Now that I'm caught up TNT's going to give us Attack Of the Gummy Dice tomorrow, I'll bet somebody 10k np.*

*not really because I'm not sure if that's allowed :P

Yay for getting Snowmuncher (and Turmy roll)!

But why did you have to mention that awful game? You shouldn't put ideas into TNT's head! I've looked at last year's list, and that's one of the ones I've practiced a little, but not nearly enough. The only worse game would be the Buzzer Game. I vote for one of the new games, personally -- Let it Slide or Piper's Panic. Or how about a word game? Does TNT have something against that category or something? The more diverse the game choices, the more people who won't make it to the end (except for PPTers, of course -- we can handle anything).

If you can't claim the prizes try clearing your browser cache, closing the browser (or restarting the computer) and trying again. Sometimes it can be the page loading wrong the first time and get stuck.

Siniri, I doubt they're doing word games because since they're not available in all languages, some people probably would think that's rather unfair.

As for the other two you and metalmario mentioned, if they show up, you will hear my ranting to the end of time....I never want to touch AOTGD again after last year!

On a side note, there's only 7 days left, and 16 games that were used last year and haven't been done this year. I'm still hoping for Ice Cream Machine. I'll be really bummed if it doesn't come up, as I love it too much.
But I'm betting Dubloon Disaster will be one of the last 7 - just a guess.

Since I'm pretty sure there's not a Daily Dare category, try this link: http://www.neopets.com/s/report_form.phtml?track_cat_id=6&item_id=24&track_start_point_id=24
