I'm using firefox *shrug*. It's a problem that crops up periodically, and I blame Neopets for it.

I'm using FF 2.0.0.12 and I'm not getting any problems. Maybe you need to update your flash plugin?

Turmac Roll makes this my 10th AAA (I have 11 Abi), not bad. Though the game was pretty laggy the first few times; had to reload it and clear the cache a couple of times before it ran fine. There's a borked server somewhere...
About the berry basket- they should've at least made it eat-able, it is a basket of berries after all. Gifts are pretty useless, unless you plan to put it in your gallery.

Turmac Roll was laggy/jumpy for me today as well, but it got better upon reloading it. A borked server would explain my troubles with MN the first time I tried to play during DD -- the game had major delays such that the bubbles wouldn't even all appear before my time ran out (on level 1!).

I also have FF 2.0.0.12, and I don't have a problem with game windows opening at the wrong size. Maybe it has something to do with your screen or browser resolutions?

There used to be a way to launch games in the current window (allowing you to resize), but it looks like TNT has disabled this feature (http://www.neopets.com/games/launch_gam ... ame_id=229 just redirects you to the game launch page) -- and I don't think resizing would have helped you get the side of the game back.

Well... you can still (technically) use links such as this.

Blahhh I hate Turmac Roll. Last year the score was only 800, and I accidentally/luckily squeezed out with 801 after hours of playing (highest before that individual game was like 500, I guess I got some good berries). Hmph. I have no idea how I'm going to get this one.

the tip of typing in aquaberry increasing your chance for an aquaberry worked for me (tho i may have able to get it otherwise too)

Also I suggest playing termoc roll on hard. yes you may not make it as far if you get some hard terrane but your score will be higher because the berries are almost always better (plus worth more in hard mode)

good luck :)

edit: oh yea also remember if you are only a few points away from getting the right score in HARD mode you get 3 points for just jumping even if its not over anything. I always jump in this game to up my score heh.

I've played Turmac Roll a lot (used to be on my favorites), and I've noticed no difference in frequency of aquaberries regardless of typing it in. But I guess it doesn't hurt to try!

Definitely play on hard -- the terrain's basically the same between the three levels, anyway. Someone mentioned it in the games forum, so here's my hint for the 3-stump combo (which is probably where I die 99% of the time) -- try to jump so you bounce on the middle stump; I used to try to bounce on the last one, but that's inconsistent. If you're hitting the middle stump too soon (crashing into the left side of it), try jumping a hair later -- you might think you'd hit the first stump, but you won't (at least eventually you won't).

Actually, you get points every few seconds just for staying alive, regardless of whether you jump or not. So just aim for the berries, but staying alive should be your first priority.

Practice is vital -- you need to anticipate the patterns to know when and how high to jump during certain obstacle combinations. Practice also helps you calm down when you see a "good" berry -- just pretend they're snidberries, and keep on keeping on.

My final tip -- DON'T pay attention to your score. I knew I needed 900, so I ended up crashing at 886 and 854 my first two plays because I was trying to keep an eye on the score. The third time, I just played to play and got over 1600. Just get in the groove and play as long as you can.

MayEdit: New Split!
