Destructo Match tips...

ALWAYS use "destroyboulders" when you clear the first level, that will give you 250 bonus points. You can't get high scores without it.

Focus on clearing the levels. Don't worry so much about gathering like blocks. Use strategy to be able to leave less than 4 blocks at the end of the level. That is where your real points are gotten.

First kill the timed block

Then I try to get rid of as many of the colored blocks that match the boulder with the sun thingy on it (clears all boulders of that color). THEN I click that one.

Next I try to eliminate as many colors as I can. In a perfect world, I try to be left with the bonus (x3) color and the question mark. So when I click the question mark, it fills in more bonus colored blocks.

I use the fire block to help eliminate a color and set me up for the question mark block. If it doesn't help, then I try not to use it until the end.

Remember, clearing levels is most important for the bonus where the big points are

AAA 17/17 :) I already had over 2000 pts in Faerie Bubbles, due to the avatar, so this one was easy.

I really hope Extreme Herder won't be in this year's Daily Dare. It's my weakness. I'm so utterly bad at it that it's become one of my least favourite games. *fingers crossed*

Heh, lucky. This one will be a bit of a struggle for me. I can barely make over 1000 points. But, it was one of my reds (IE, practice very hard) and I've made it over at least once this month (yeah for practicing!), so I should be able to pull it off. Thank goodness they didn't make AAA's any harder than last year! (Abi's is easier, though).

Extreme Herder was my worst game last year - aside from DOMII. I almost didn't make AAA's score in time. I dread it so much, I haven't even started practicing it. {shudders} Maybe I should....after I get home and scrape by on today's.

Use the codes for todays game .. before today my high score for this game (faerie bubbles) was 900 something however today I ended up with a score of 1251 :D
Once I got to around 800 points and was on a new level I used the code bubbles and cleared the screen with my first shot .. that gave me alot of bonus points and put me over 1000 needed to beat AAA. Good Luck everyone.

That was surprisingly easy... I got it on my second try. Now just to get in some KM plays.

Faerie Bubbles is capable of being very, very evil (I'm looking at you earth, dark, and especially you air bubble!). But I got it after a few tries. Don't know how I'm ever going to manage the avatar though.

Also, I had a dream that I scored 4,017 in Destruct-o-Match. I woke up happy and then my world came crashing down after about 5 seconds of thought. I need a life xD

Heh. I had a dream like that when I was still practicing.
You know it's really bad when you're mindlessly deciding on what game to play to waste some time, when you go to DOM, even though you hate it. I finished a game last night before I realized I was playing it, and really really didn't want to be. Too much practice created bad habits. :P

Faerie Bubbles has the worst set of prizes so far. It would've been nice to get some kind of cute wearable.

Anyway, I got the AAA score. The game isn't all that difficult, but sometimes the draw of the bubble colors can kinda screw ya a bit.

After playing several hours of Edna's shadow the other day, I was driving home, and as I'd watch one car change lanes, I'd keep my eyes open for its shadow version coming the opposite way.

I can't tell you the number of times I freaked out when a car would move to the lane beside me...

I think that would freak me out, too. Quite a bit, probably. Thankfully, we drive in the HOV lane for most of our trip, so there's no cars switching lanes. :P

And whew. After several tries, I managed a 1021. Now, hopefully I'll be able to get that irritating background music out of my head. If DD comes back next year, someone remind me to mute it! {goes to turn on some good old Rachmaninoff}

17/17!

I had hungry meepits haunting my dreams for 3 or so nights. And they weren't after something as innocent as juppie juice!
But then I won the game at the AAA level and felt a lot better.

Thanks for the advice.
Bumble Beams at 459.
I have now beaten AAA 11 times, and Abigail once.
I probably should have held out for more practice of Itchy Invasions to beat AAA
