Danny Norriega again is the most annoying of them all. Agh, I just can't stand him. He has this irritating attitude and his singing is so... irksome. I'm glad Simon told him straight out how grotesque he was.

One of the top twenty-four contestants has the same last name that my male MC in my novel has as a FIRST name (Synetha...or whatever, Mercado)...so I think I might have to stick by her. XD
And David Archuleta isn't half-bad either.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I actually think David Cook (the person I think you're referring to) is the generic rocker. He's like a male version of Gina Glocksen from last season.
