She's forgotten it, but I'm afraid she'll like kill me now.

I bet you a million dollars you'll feel better if you apologize. And vow to her that you will take better care of her items in the future. If this is the only time it's happened, then she should forgive you. But if it happens again, I'd bet money that she'll stop giving you items. Remember- always put important items in your safety deposit box, trades or make them unbuyable in your shop.

Hiding this and then her finding out will be worse the just telling her, the 'I thought you wouldn't notice' excuse is a bad one.

It's only a virtual neopets item, how important could it be to her? It's not like a real thing you "borrowed" and broke that costs money.

Still, when brothers lose something, or something with the same effect, it requires compensation.

Just appoligize. After all, she's your sister. She can't stay mad at you forever for loosing a virtual item.

My brother borrowed (half a year ago) 3 million neopoints, 100 dubloon coin (which he lost) and a freezing potion off me and still hasn't returned it and I'm not really expecting it back...Hopefully your sister will be the same :|.
