May, that's a great idea!

I can volunteer to do two things (since I can do one on my work, and one on my home machine), so I'll start increasing population on one and industry on the other.

Can't. You only get one action per day per computer. If you try clicking on another one of the links, it does nothing. I've tried it several times. ;)
