Well they called the first year "Year 1" But you're right they say November 15th 1999. So that means 2000 was their first birthday . . . this should have been the 8'th birthday and thus the ninth year. So 2008's the tenth year. Now I'm a bit confused too.

Edit: I searched for birthday things on neopets and only found things up to the eight not the ninth so I think that was the problem. And the news page for November 15 this year agrees. Also I think i need to sleep more if I find things like this so mysterious these days.
