Also note: there's no reason you can't level up for Nox in the Goo Bog. Just walk straight past his fortress into the bog, gain as many levels as you want, and then backtrack when the time comes to fight him. The monsters in the Bog are easier than the Body Parts of Nox that you'd be killing in Nox's fortress and give more XP to boot because they're technically a higher level.

I vote level 50 for Nox, too. He's a dangerous boss and his minions are unusually dangerous, too. Why fool around? But that's just me, presumably 49 works for many people as well.

I have to agree with you. I attempted Nox at 49 and I lsot Mipsy and Talina almost instantly. This seems to be the ebst way to train for Nox. it's not that he is a difficult boss, he just heals far too often and most slowing potions don't work as well on him as they do other bosses.

I feel he would of made a better end of chapter boss than The Esophogar.

Yes, Nox was too hard and the Esaphoger was too easy, just with great HP. Slow him and kill him. He's only able to haste and stun

TNT should've given him more HP.

Anyway, my friend was unlucky enough to get killed by 4 hands of nox :o 4 100 dmgers, that's yup to 400 damage!

I'd suggest levelling up to about level 50. Nox isn't that hard to hit, but he heals a LOT. It took me ages to beat him -_-

*objects* 49! 49! He gives you the EXP boost and then you can gain level 50 in the Goo Bog.

I entered the Temple of the Sky at level 31, it was easy, but you should enter at 30/31.

I beat the faeries at 48, but it costed me a Mipsy. So I think you should fight them at lvl 49 or 50. It was almost impossible to beat them at 47 for me.

I have a problem, look at this.
Rohane 163,841
Mipsy 161,713
Talinia 164,195
Velm 163,690
(The numbers behind are the exp. points)
As you can see, Mipsy's exp is pretty far off. Every time the others level up (They level up together within 5 battles), Mispy is still far behind, as she got less exp. a number of times after being defeated by the enemies. So she levels up only about 10 battles later. Is there anything I can do about it?

What kind of strategy were you using? I'm pretty conservative level-wise but I think 49 or 50 is more than you need for the Faeries unless you're being extra-cautious. (I was 49 when I fought them on Insane and it was a cakewalk.)

Remember: slowing potions are your friends. :-) Buy a bunch from the guy by the Brain Tree, burn through a bunch of them keeping the Faeries slowed (I think I went through 10 of them) and then go back and buy more to get ready for Nox. It makes a big difference.

Ok, what level for Zombom on Insane?

I'm currently level 11, but I'm having loads of trouble getting through the Underground Cave. I keep running low on potions, and keep having to go back to the city.

I took Zombom at around level 12. I skipped parts of the tower and went straight for Zombom. He's a lot easier to defeat than the monsters.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

That's bad.
Very bad.
You should be level 30 when you beat chapter 2, at the least.

And, Mark, I leveled up to 15. :P I have a horrible habit of overleveling up... I mean, I don't want to lose to like the Devilpuss on InSaNe!.

Okay, looks like everybody's having a problem with the four faerie sisters. Well when I got to the grove trust me I was like FREAKED OUT BY THEM and would only like wanna fight at level 50+. I beat them at level 47 with ease. They're MUCH easier than you think. In fact, I cougld fight them 3 times in a row (no breaks, no levels gained) and would be fine.

When i fought King Terask II, I max (I think) eeverybody's innates (haste, MR, etc) maxed out, and Velm's GS (enchanted pallisade, +19) to top it off and it was really cool/funny when it was:

King Terask casts Celestial Hammer on Mipsy!
Mipsy completely resisted the celestial hammer! :P

You cannot defeat me, puny Terask!

I beat the fire, then the dark, then mesmerized the water, defeated the earth, then finally the water. In all, I used not more than 10 slowing potions and I hasted the team with Celerity regularly when Mipsy was still around. Mipsy was later defeated, but luckily Velm wasn't and maybe that's why I managed to beat the faeries.

Mipsy died? The only times I died unpurposely were at Zombom's tower (Rohane, once), Temple of the Sky (once or twice, Mipsy and/or tailina), against Hubrid (Rohane, once) and I think 1-2 more times in act 1.

I think that's pretty much par for the course leveling up to face Zombom on Insane.

I took him out at 13. I think I could probably have done it at 12 -- that last level was a pain in the rear to gain -- but I didn't want to take the risk.
