I remember those (Or atleast something akin to them).
Devilspawn they were.
I tended to score rather... Schizophrenically, because of my skewed perspective.

Probably something different, 'cause they don't tell you your CAT results- they just use them to predict GCSE results and help with setting and things. Mine predicted that my best GCSE grade would be an A and I'd only get 1; I got 6 A*s 3As 2Bs or something, so screw you CATs!

They're really a load of rubbish. I only know how I scored because my dad's a teacher at my school. Another boy in my year did REALLY well on his but was pretty poor academically. They don't really relate so I don't understand why they use them.

Ah, no, didn't do anything like that for GCSE.
Did for SAT's though (The year 6 ones) they expected me to get 2's across the board (VERY bad, if you are unknowing the barmy score system).

I showed them with 5's in English and Science and a perfect test in Maths.
Gits.

Our school uses those Fisher Price Family people to predict GCSE grades from SATs.

My predicted PE grade is an A*.

(just so you know, I am currently working at a nice, happy F in PE :))

Haha, they're supposed to measure potential. Though they never told us, I remember how we all used to peek at our technology teacher's list, which had all the scores on there. I don't know if they particularly did anything with it, though. It must've been factored into some things, but we got nothing fancy, like what we should get at GCSE.

The college system (well, used at my college, anyway) for measuring predicted grades seems rubbish, too. But then, I guess that's all they can do.

The full CAT result sheet has predictions for how many of each grade you'll get at GCSE; and it does a breakdown of results into 3 categories.

I've seen em! I know!
