Several days ago, when the Neolodge Abuse thread was made, I popped one of my pets into the Neolodge for one day, just to see what would happen. It still shows him being in the Neolodge (it says "XXXXX is checking out") and he's still being fed.

Is that how it's supposed to work? 5 np and I never have to feed my pets again?

Its supposed to work that you pay so many NP a day and its takin care of for that many days.

In theory, it's 5np per day that it's in the lodge. Once it's out, you do have to feed it again to keep it from 'dying'.

Well, one of them finally checked out after 3 days of "Checking Out". Now another pet I put in there to see if it happened again has been at "Checking Out" for several hours. It doesn't say "Checking out in XX Hours" just "Checking out".

My pet is dying. I may pu thim in the Neolodge.

It's some sort of a glitch. I was the one who wrote the original thread several days ago about my pets starving in the lodge. Even though I put them in for only one day, it took them about 3 days to check out and when they finally checked out, they were bloated.

The way it is supposed to work is that you put your pets in the lodge, they get bloated within an hour or so and stay that way until they check out of the lodge. If you put them in for 1 day, they would check out exactly 24 hours later. And, slowly but surely the hunger status level would decrease with each day that they weren't in the lodge or fed by hand.

hah, jus imagine that neopets made the pets 'able to die' haha maybe then people would take better care of their pets... haha
