wow, you have some good horses there!
all with good form and from the ones i can see jumping they've been trained well since they use their neck and pick up their feet. I've been riding for a while now, but i havent been able to own a horse or a pony(simply because in the middle east they only want the very best and if your going to own a horse it's expensive to take care of it cause of the high class vets/stables/instructors etc.)
hopefully one day though i can train some horses as a part time job.

Ive always loved riding and horses so I wouldn't mind a career in that area at all!
Still your incredibly lucky to have owned so many ponies and horses

Awww thanks guys! I miss riding too Duck, I think about it every day :( I suppose I could start riding here in Spain, but I ried that once, and the horses are all in there late 20's, and just...eh. The only other riding school near us is about an hours drive away too, and Im only 17, so I cant really do anything. Getting a mo-ped soon though, so yaay! :D Maybe I'll be able to get down there sometimes.
Tbh, I didnt jump alot. I mean, I CAN jump and pretty well too, but I'm definatly a showing and dressage rider. Thats how I was taught. Plus, pretty much all my horses where all trained for showing and dressage and if any of them jumped its because I'd get bored and home and put up some wee cross poles and everything, just to give them soemthing different to do. Zara was the only one who could really jump, and had any talent for it. Baby, for instance, would go up to to a jump, stop dead, bunny hop over it, then take off. But yeah :P I used to jump my friends horses sometimes, and me and Zara used to do the 1m classes, maybe soemtimes bigger, depending on the show. She was only 14hh, but she could really jump xD

Yes I am happy now Alex =:0) Thank you very much. Beautiful as always, and I agree with Riss, I love the hair.

The spanish has some super awesome horses though. I could go on and on about Andalusian horses. Bone headed perhaps, but just... amazing rides. I've never been a pony person except for ground work. And then the pony I worked with was fat, and sassy and nothing at all like the ponies you owned. My own horses are likewise, fat and grumpy, but they're aging now and just like to mellow in the field. I know what you mean about missing riding, but maybe with your moped you could find someone to take you out again.

Me too! I can rant on and on about them aswell as some of the European horses.
Riding an Andalusian was a real dream, plus the andalusian I was riding was very well trained and obedient too so it made the experience a real staple in my head. Ah I wish I had an adalusian for myself to ride all for myself. 0:)

It currently looks like we're getting another horse. An older mare, that someone found wandering on the highway (no joke). We'll have to get her vet checked, preg tested (we can't take her if she's pregnant, not a proper set up for a foal). And yurk. I'd love an andy... *sigh* but for now i'll stick with my more achievable dream of owning a Canadian. I've got my eyes on a pair of sorrel geldings who are simply beautiful looking.

http://www.theanimalifarm.com/

It's a PMU rescue, with a lot of mares/foals that need homes. But most of the mares are bred, and we're not set up for anything younger then a two year old. If you click on "Available Horses" then "Canadians" then "Geldings" you can see the two boys i'm interested in. Marv Ells Blackjack Fantasy (I love his face), Or Marv Ells Blackjack Calypso (feel he's got the better conformation). But I need to think on it more. Buying a horse going into winter isn't exactly smart, and I don't know if i've got the time to invest in a two year old.

I actually thought it was Fidds at first glance :/ Then I saw Igg and at a second glance was corrected!

In return for your photo Alex I'll give you a couple of me on Monday morning at approximately 5am. I went outside to smoke as we're not allowed to smoke in our rooms in the Hall's and I found a new friend, I named him Greg =:0)

Image

Here he is on my shoulder

Image

And here's Greg on my forehead

Image

Oh and finally heres the little scoundrel nesting in my hair <3

Image

If anyone is wondering I set him free straight after outside and watched him hop off happily, god knows what he was doing on the third floor of a building.
