Cut a grape in half and bung it in the Microwave.

It's pretty and not dangerous at all! Mostly not dangerous!

Is it bad that I totally know what will happen but I really want to go do it RIGHT NOW? WE HAVE GRAPES. ARGH!

The juice Flashes to Plasma.
I've never seen it cause actual damage but still, there were copious warnings.

This is degenerating into a bunch of suggestions on what not to microwave, but hey look! Do not microwave paint tins. microwavecam has a few very interesting videos. The one where they capture the plasma fireball in a glass jar is especially cool.

But I'll actually do these suggestions, except metal. I wouldn't microwave metal.

Take pictures.

My mum won't buy grapes since I foolishly mentioned my desire to do it. :(

I've done it.

You cut the grapes in half, lay the two halves next to each other, touching, and switch on. Its alright, it makes a hissing flame.

Better was when I did the burnt matches in a candle thing, that actually made plasma. Nice.

I also microwaved a wet crisp packet once, just to see. Crackling electricity, and it shrank very small. The writing was perfect, just very small.

The Japanese will not be pleased that you have discovered the secret of miniaturisation.

My sister once set a loaf of bread on fire in the microwave. It was still in its packaging, and she forgot to remove the twist-tie before she put it in to thaw(we used to buy bread in bulk and keep it in the freezer until we were ready to open it).
We also have a few dishes with gold on them, which look very interesting when they throw off sparks because the gold is in a stripe or a few squares. Homemade localized fireworks!

Because it attacked the albino alligator living in the sewer?

No, she was wet and I wanted to dry her off quick.
