Do you consider yourself an adult? Or teenager, or whatever?
Mon Aug 27, 2007 7:10 pm
I'm a Teenager. At 15 and Grade 10 in High School, I'm pretty much that. I fancy myself a Young Adult sometimes, especially because I'm more mature than some my age but, I am a teenager nonetheless.

Hm. Was a toss up between adult and "fake" adult. But while I still like things geared primarily towards kids (IE, watching Disney movies on a Saturday night), most of how I act is generally an adult.

I do, and the law does.
A remarkably immature Adult, but still.

I'm in the same pickle as Pickles. (Ha!) I am still very much into kiddy things, but I tend to act very mature (have been doing so since I was half my age). But I also want to put old since I consider anyone to be old. (I have been calling myself old since I was... 14 or 15 too).
Long story short, I went with 'Fake Adult'.

I considered that one, too. My sister has called me an "old fart" ever since I got married (never mind the fact that she's only 2 years younger and will be getting married herself next summer).

Um... same as pretty much everyone else already said, I guess. I like some "kiddy" things but not THAT many, but I still put myself into Fake Adult.

Fake adult. 19, living with fiance yet still finds farting humourous.

Although I'm only 23, considered a young adult I hope, I feel like an adult in comparison to all the 17-20 year olds running around campus. So I voted "adult."

Fake adult sounds good.

I became an adult when I felt no jealousy or envy whatsover about another's good fortune. I am unreservedly thrilled when someone else has a victory, success, good news, achievement. When I was pre-adult I would sigh when someone had it easier or was more fortunate, but now I rejoice with them with a whole heart.

I beleive the word is adsolensent? I know I spelled that wrong. Its been a long day.
but I am 22...23 in December. by law you are an adult at 18. I think I will consider myself a full and responsible adult at 25...but for now I'm somewhere in college student lala land.

I can vote, buy cigarettes and lottery tickets, and be drafted by(though not serve in) the armed forces. I think I'm an adult.

I have to wear a necktie every day, and a suit most days. I'm 27.
And I like jokes about poo.
So, fake adult it is.

Hmm...almost turning 19.
I don't think I'll consider myself "fully adult" until I am at the age to carry on the responsibility of marriage. So...I guess I'm still "young" then.
