I'm freaked out...

Okay, today I had 0 NP out (all of it was in the bank, and I made it so I couldn't withdraw any). Just now, as I was browsing the site, I gained 552 NP. Obviously I didn't think anything of it, it probably was just one of those things where you gain a random amount of NP. Now here's where it starts to get bizarre. My NP suddenly went up to 876. Then, after a while, it changed to 1114 NP. Now I know you can't mysteriously gain that much NP in just a few minutes. Now it's 1597, and growing gradually every few minutes or so. What is happening!?!

Change your password now, maybe there is some crazy hacker in your account. Also report it to neopets, maybe its some kind of a glitch that will get you frozen!

I've never had that happen to me... but I have heard of other people who say this has happened to them.... o_O

Has the amount of money in the bank changed? If so it may be a hacker. Change your password, and report to neopets. I hope your account will stay safe!

I heard through a friend of someone who had an account that "generated" neopoints like that. It's weird though. Report it immediately!

Maybe someone was on your account and playing games. That could easily bring up the amount of NP without you noticing

I was thinking that, too. I might go browse the Games Room a bit and look to see how many times I've 'played' certain games today, to see if I see anything suspicious. But can multiple people get in one account at the same time? o_O

Yeah, sometimes when I'm at my friend's house I log-in, and forget to log off, and we're in my account at the same time for a few seconds :lol:

Yes, they can. If you are logged in somewhere, someone else can log into your account on another computer if they know your password. I know this for a fact because my daughter has transferred pets to me when both of us have been in the same account, on two different computers, at the same time.
