lol...that's how I judge whether or not I'll like a movie too... ;)

That being said, I really really liked Spiderman 3. I've been waiting for Venom since the first movie. If you liked the first 2 movies, you'll love the third. <3

That movie was the most godawful piece of crap ever. Guyliner? That ridiculous dance? The theatre spent half its time laughing at how silly and emo the movie got.

The only part worth watching was the MJ smackdown scene. I wanted to do it myself.

Ugh. I have no idea what the hype is about.

According to my geeky boyfriend, the first film was very close to the plot of the comics, the second was changed slightly but in ways that he could cope with, apparently the third one went off track altogether due to the fact that Kirsten Dunst is leaving the whole shebang.

Still haven't seen it yet but I'm going tomorrow. Quite excited actually!

Second film was actually quite bad with thingy, Doc Ock, the dual personality thing was added to make him more human (Because humans cant be bad unless they're controlled by aliens/robots/bad experiences with younger siblings etcetera)
and ya, Mary-jane and peter get married in most of the ones I've seen.

I thought that was the point. Peter thinks he's hot stuff, dancing and pushing his hair into his eyes, while girls give him that "Um, ew" look. It's fantastic.

The best part of the movie was the venom guy. Topher Grace was cool. Mary Jane getting smacked was likewise cool. I HATE Kirsten Dunst. BLECH.

I'm not a fan of these movies, and I feel the second one was the best. Blech.

Yay for pointless spam!

I saw this film on Sunday, and I loved it.
I found the dancing bit quite funny, but the Jazz Club scene was excellent. I personally liked Peter more when he was smurf than when he was himself. Well, I didn't like the MJ Smackdown bit, but all the rest was good.
Personally, I thought Venom was a bit cheap. It kind of felt he was just in there for the sake of being in there. Maybe if they'd done what they did at the end of Batman Begins and had a setup for the next film (namely giving Eddie Brock the Venom suit) it would have been better. However, I thought the Sandman was handled quite well, and New Goblin was excellent. I hate what happened to him at the end though, mainly because it's James Franco and he's basically hot.

Now for some images!

First of all, Kirsten Dunst is not against doing the rest of the movies. She's been quoted as saying she'll be back if Tobey is back as Peter and Sam is back as the director (producer? director/producer?)

Anyway, I saw it last night, and it was... decent. Everyone told me it would be more like a love story, which would have been fine, but it wasn't even done that well. There were a few too many plots going on that there wasn't enough time to care for any of them enough. It would have been better to see more of Eddy's angst, or Harry's confusion, or Sandman's issues.

Speaking of the Sandman, aside from being horribly cliched (and I love my cliches, but this was just... hmm) and overdone, it was stupid to even get him involved in the murder of Uncle Ben. I also think it was stupid to get Gwen Stacy involved in the movie at all. The character of comic-Gwen was basically merged with comic-MJ to make movie-MJ; to have a movie-Gwen is kind of stupid, because you can't use her in a way that resembles her original character at all, and with Gwen, who's life/death are so important to who Spiderman is in the comics, it would have been better to just leave her out of the movies instead of including her in a sub-par role that doesn't do her justice. I was much happier with the fact that movie-MJ was a combination of Gwen and MJ. There's a host of female characters that could have been used as a romantic foil. I would have been much happier if, say, Felicia Hardy was used (because that could set up for the Black Cat appearing in other movies).

Oh, and the dancing scene was horrible! My friend turned to me and said "this one scene just ruined the movie". I would have been totally fine with just the dancing with Gwen scene, because that was important to the plot, but the dancing on the street and the dancing around the Jazz club was... kind of stupid.

It became so funny when it was Mary Jane being hit. I personally don't care that much, but she is darned annoying to a lot of people.
