I gasped out loud and laughed when I saw this. Now I'm not going to be able to get any work done because I'll be constantly checking the news page to see what happens!

Have we had a Meepit Day yet?

I just realized today's double feature game is *drumroll* Meepit Juice Break. Coincidence?

EDIT: I've only been on the site for a few years, but to my recollection, there has never been a Meepit Day.

They've been telling us for years at the Neopian times that meepits were evil and going to try to take over the world!

I'd love to know who was the first to come up with this idea.

I wonder if there was a first person to come up with the idea, or was it something we all collectively picked up on? A bit of research would be nice, if anyone wants to actually read back through the times and find out.

Having said that, I wonder who or what is controlling the meepits? Are they agents of Sloth? Or maybe Kadoaties in disguise? Or are they working for themselves on a plot that has been perfected over time?

Or maybe they are uprising trying to dispell the myth that they are evil. THe giant Meepit says "Meepit of Peace..not doom" or something like that. Ha, it's probably got a thousand armored meepits inside!

Oh I'd love for this to be the start of a plot, instead of simply meepit day. I mean, meepit toys, clothing, food is nice, but we want a plot!

Don't they like to tease us for at least a few months before enacting a plot though? Don't get me wrong, I would love a plot! I just don't have a lot of faith.

It is the Trojan Meepit, I tell you. Any moment now a thousand angry meepits weilding plungers will attack. I am sure the island Mystic has warned you that this would happen, but noooo you wouldn't listen to his advice.

Seems very much like a plot teaser to me. I'm very excited, as I've only ever done Altador.

I seem to remember that too, smudge. They look so sweet and chirp so cute in the meepit juice game when secretly they are ebil creatures preparing for the doom of all of Neopia. Oh, I want a plot!

I had three or four people im me in about two minutes time asking me what was up with the meepit on the news. So I went to check and I just sort of stared at the screen. I was not expecting to see a giant moving meepit.
