crud >_< I was afraid that would happen. um... does anyone know how to convert oma files to mp3? Otherwise I'll fiddle around with it and see if I can figure it out or wait til my dad gets home and ask him. Or if you don't want to wait for that you could download sonicstage, that's what I used to get it on the computer and what plays them(uh, just google sony sonicsage, it should be the first one, I think)

if you google oma convert mp3, you should find programs to do the convertion

Ok, onto my ratings. This was really hard to do!

Disclaimer: Besides some required chorus classes in high school I don’t have much of a singing background. So take what you will from these ratings, it’s highly subjective:

Fiddlysquat: Good job! That’s a good song for this type of the competition, and you have the type of voice that works great with this song. 8.5/10

AngelAttitude: Not bad! I don’t know if this is the best song for you. Your voice seemed to be wavering on some of the notes, and didn’t see to be entirely sure of the song. 7/10


Pixa:
I definitely like the song choice. Good tone of voice, but you could have expressed a little more excitement. You obviously had a good command of the lyrics (which scares me a little). 6.5/10

Kokotankuu:
Very nice! You have a nice range, and your voice is a great fit for this song. I didn’t recognize this song, but you sound like a Disney princess! 8.5/10

Kugetsu:
Fuel is one of my favorite bands, so I love the song choice. But that also means I know the song very well, so it was harder to separate your performance from the actual song. But that’s just me. Good command of the lyrics, but I would have liked to see a little more energy. 6.5/10

Uncle Xyzzy:
Ooh, an acapella performance. I don’t know this song, but I think you could have made a better choice. There were a few parts with higher notes where it seemed like you were straining. 6/10

whatisthis:
Another song I don’t know, but it’s a good fit for your voice. Your voice is very rich, and you seemed to hit all the notes. I don’t know if it was your mike or you, but I got a little too much vibrato. 8/10

Robin:
Yay, a song I know! Song fits with your voice, and you’re obviously very familiar with it. There were a few notes where it fell flat, which may have been less noticeable if it was set to music, but overall, good job. 7.5/10

BlueZ:
Great song, great energy. You really belted it out. There were a few notes where I felt it was a bit off, but overall I liked it. 7/10

That’s a very pretty song, and a good fit for your voice. However, I did wonder how you would do with a more pop/rock song. Show me more! 8/10

Wow, I’m impressed! Perfect song choice, your voice is perfect for this type of music. Only issue I had was it was a little hard to hear you over the music. 9/10

DragonDoodies: One of my favorite Christmas songs. You did a good job, I definitely felt that you enjoyed the song. 7/10

Pipsqueeek: Got it! I don't know the song, but I don't think it was the best choice. It was rather fast and it was hard to understand at times. Your voice was nice though, just need a better song to showcase it. 6.5/10

I think my dad mentioned that you could do it with audacity... of course, me being an idiot, I forgot to ask him about it before he went to bed >_<

I don't know if I even can record straight to my computer. I'll go fiddle around with stuff and hopefully I'll be able to get something worked out =/

ewww. so I found some instructions on how to do it online, and they work(at least I think they do, I didn't actually finish it out), but it's really, really quiet. I can hardly hear it with the volume all the way up. ew.
I'll pester my dad about it tomorrow.

In the mean time, the only thing I can think of is to download sonicstage and listen to it with that =/
