Like in life, you deserve to get punished if you break the rules, and whether WE think those rules are reasonable or not does not really come into it. It's their site and they should be able to make up whatever rules they see fit for its continued existant.
well, if your account is frozen for something you didn't think was justified, would that make you a "sad, little " person? how do you know his account got frozen for actually breaking rules? albeit his actions by washing it on the userlookup is unwise and over-the-board, but since some people have retaliatory nature, we shouldn't relate his retaliatory action to his innocence. such baseless assumption is similar to the "Alex" rogue moderator mentioned in the other thread.
YES, players deserve to get their accounts frozen for breaking rules. the point is did we? so far neopets rules are just as long as they are executed to precision, but not even the moderators can vouch for that, so how can you?
actually, for every player whose account was once frozen unjustifiably, they must have secret thought of doing something self-destructive like this fella did. i admit i nearly went down that route in a fit of anger but managed to quell it in the end. every email correspondance with the neostaff nearly always bring abt more frustration (auto-response, rude presumptious staff..etc) but i suppose most of us bite the bullet and respond with more courtesy (certainly so in my case). we have shown respect for these neostaff but are they actually showing equal respect by inspecting every case?
