I am told it's a gayer remake of 300 Spartans, oui?
not at all. Its basically a 100 percent accurate retelling of Frank Miller's graphic novel, 300.
Is the graphic novel a gayer version of 300 spartans?
It's about ancient Greece.
Yes, it's really quite gay. (And has some jokes on the subject, some subtle, others less so)
Gee, thanks for the insight. I thought a film about Spartans and Persians would be set in Scotland. Truly, today, I am an enlightened one.
The film 300 Spartans is about the same war only it's actually historically accurate (well, as historically accurate as it's possible to be seeing as how the guys who made it weren't actually there and all).
*sigh*
Greece is well known for being somewhat open about their sexuality (Rather, Ancient Greece is, Modern Greece likes to pretend their history never happened) and infact the film makes note of that in several subtle, less than subtle and one patently obvious way.
And 300 Spartans is in no way shape or form accurate.
It's like Armageddon in that respect.
Armageddon had some science in it.
There was an asteroid, and asteroids are indeed real.
And yes, the Chargin Ma Lazer one fails to comply to the rules.
For shame.
