I am. Granted, I take long breaks from time to time, but I've been playing since May of 2001.

I'm a few months into my 7th year of playing. I've gotten furious at the game, taken breaks, given away all of my items once or twice, and I guarantee that I'll do it all again.

It's hard to totally give up something I've been doing since I was 10.

It has its ups and downs, but it's hard to envision a future where I never play Neopets again. I'm looking towards med school, and that'll put a strain on things, but a quick game of Sutek's Tomb is a great way to unwind. :)

I've been playing on and off for 7 years, but I always end up taking breaks. I could see myself playing in 5 years, but I don't know how active I would really be.

5 years ago I thought I would have quit in five years, but apparently not. So I can still see myself playing..but I'm the same as metalmario, if my main account was frozen, I can't see myself playing the same (or at all)as I do now. :/

I've been playing for nearly 5 years, so... Unless anything suddenly comes up that makes me decide to be all "MUST QUIT NOW!! FOREVER!!!", I'll have have been playing for 5 years this June.

I doubt I'll quit anytime soon, so I suppose it is possible that I'll still be playing Neopets in 5 years- I'll be 20, a junior in college/university. SCARY THOUGHTS. D:

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

In five years I will hopefully be in college... as a professor. :o

I think I'll keep playing for as long as I find it interesting enough to spend the time on. Whether that's five more years... I don't know. I sort of susepct not. Then again I sure as heck didn't think I'd still be playing after 3.5 years when I signed up on a whim 3.5 years ago.

I think I can see myself playing Neopets in five years. I've been playing since 2001 also (like so many other people), and I haven't quit yet. I actually kind of find it relaxing to do all my dailies after a hard day at work. It's something I can do without thinking about anything. Though I do have to agree with what some other people have said. If the site continues the way it has (not exactly going downhill in my opinion, but it's definitely not going uphill either), I can see myself quitting sooner than I would like.

Hint: You can do dailies lightning quick if you have Neopet links in a bookmark folder :P

Neopets starts to lose its addicting quality once you've reached your goals and experienced most parts of the game. For me, I've reached most of my goals, and now just do dailies and maybe a little restocking once in awhile. If I still play in 5 years... I'll have a lot more in the bank :)

Hmmn... I'll probably still have my account. No clue how often I'll actually play. As of right now, I'm bored with NeoPets. I have a goal - 5mil NP, but I' not in a hurry to reach it. Other than that, I have no real reason to play anymore. No plots to figure out. Even if there WAS a plot, its doubtful that we'd get rewarded for participating. I used to love collecting avatars... but right now, there aren't any new ones.

I probably will, but not as much as I do now. It is getting boring now, I don't have goals, but just to make NPs. So there is no point of the game for me.

Hmm, just past 5 years now (5 years and 23 days, according to the age of my pet), so hopefully yes. As long as Neopets doesn't change too much (i.e. become easier or shallower), things should be alright. I quit for about a year after reaching my first goal on a stroke of luck (1 million NP from a 600k Dark Battle Duck shortly after it was introduced) - so I might pause for a little bit after hitting my next goal of 10 million and the next battledome tier for my main pet.

I've been playing 5 years, too. Coming to PPT has enhanced the experience for me.

I see myself continuing unless it isn't fun anymore. I am a bit concerned that the players may be pressured into paying. If that happens, I'll quit.

I hope not. Not that there's anything wrong with it but I'll stay around PPT because I like it here but I don't spending mass amounts of time on things that have no real purpose but socializing so I can just skip a step and just talk here on PPT. Another hobby would be a nice replacement for Neopets.

I've been playing Neopets on and off across serveral different accounts since sometime in 1999/2000. I remember the Macy Grays and when the Bruce was more like... a guy and when you could CHOSE to do a faerie quest whenever you wanted and not when they gave you one.
