Problems with my toolbar and neo in general

Sun Jan 28, 2007 11:50 pm

Neo is working fine for me in a browser that I already have open, but I can't access it from any other point.

In example, if I google 'neopets', and click on the link, it won't open. It just acts like it's loading, then stops.

None of the in site links for neopets are woking on my toolbar either, the pages just won't load. ..But the links in my favorites section that lead to outside sites work fine.

Tarla has blinked at me 10 times in the past two minutes, but her pop up won't load.

On the page I've already had open, neopets is working just fine..game scores are sending, petpages are loading dailies are being collected..but I just can't enter it from any other point.

Anyone else having this issue? Or is my computer trying a new way to intervene with my neoaddiction?

That's happened to me a couple of times. Try restarting (your browser, and if that doesn't work, your computer), and clearing out your cache. Hopefully that'll help.

All I can think is it might be HOSTS or internal in your browser. Sometimes I can search MetaCrawler and click a link to open in a new tab and it wont. But if I copy the URL without "metacrawler's" redirect info, it will load. Otherwise I consider it bad coding or even malicious and rather happy it won't load (then again I am not the smartest but fairly street-smart in the browsing realm).

As for the toolbar, I don't (can't) use it; but I use Tarla's link.

It has been fixed, as far as I know, and the 'new' direct link to it works since I got something from Tarla the other day, after many days of the timing issue. Perhaps downloading and/or reinstalling the most current version of it might help?

I cleared my cache and restarted my computer and it kept on acting up, then I reinstalled the toolbar and it seemed to function again. :/

Thanks for that. :) I saved it in my favorites just in case this ever happens again.
