LOL They were serious about the shearing part...

Im getting one now ;)

 This is so hilarious!

I have a Robot Gnorbu on my side account; right now, she looks adorable! :) I wish I could keep her this way year-round.

I love how even the Robot and Mutant Gnorbus were sheared, despite their lack of bountiful wool or fur or whatever it is that Gnorbus have. =P

Well, for a moment I was scared when I saw my cloud gnorbu  the fun image is way too cute.

*blinks* I just noticed it now, but I fell in love with the image... the circle-pose gnorbu is BLUSHING!

 I love it, so cute!

I wish TNT would release it as a color.

I third the idea of it being a color! Lab only would be nice, I cannot imagine how expensive it'd be if it was a PB.

Random event maybe? Like, "A farmer walks up and shears ____ (insert Gnorbu's name), ohnoz!" but worded better.

i also wish it was a permanent colour. it would be beautiful!

and i love that set, angisfab. =]

Aww thanks guys. I'm still trying to learn the intricacies of Adobe CS2, because I used PSP for years and got used to that.

I too wish the shorn Gnorbu was a permanent color; I think it would be a hilarious random event:
Something Has Happened!
A farmer tackles your Gnorbu and shaves it clean!

but what if it was some expensive color to begin with? It would be like a gnorbu-specific Boochi. I vote the angry yurble farmer guy for the job.

let's all write to TNT! bald gnorbus (gnorbi?) here we come!

I think the plural might just be 'gnorbu'

XD;

Would be a hillarious SHH, but maybe only if the Gnorbu was the active pet? XP

Perhaps it would only be something that would last a month or so? Maybe two?
After all, after you shear a sheep, the wool grows back... so your gnorbu could be shaved, but then be back to normal after a little bit... so those with expensive colors could be pacified :)

I think other pets should get sheared too:

Pretend it was an aisha..

But I was an orange lupe...

For birds and stuff they could have them molt once a year, so they look all pitiful. Seals and penquins molt too.

I submitted the idea to TNT last night, and included how there were a bunch of us who thought it was a great idea on a Neopets forum :)

Nooo!!! I don't want any more color-changing random events. Period. Even if it was a funny one. Even though I only have one Gnorbu and she's a lab rat. I don't want any of my pets' paint jobs erased because of something I have little to no control over.

I still think it would work best as a lab-only color. In fact, I like smudge's idea of having a few more shaved pets. A plucked Pteri or Lenny would be hilarious.

EDIT: Didn't see this post from psycho_chick:

Now if that were the case, I wouldn't mind it so much. Only thing I'd change is the time frame, to like a day or a week.

Hmm, if not a random event, what if you could buy some shears at the beauty shop or something? One-time use I think.
