Have you bought or been bought any christmas presents on Neopets this year? I just gave my boyfriend a Pirate Paint Brush to paint his Mynci daveklan. It cost me 3.5 million, but it was definitely worth it

I got my friends stuff, but it wasnt that expensive. I didnt get anything.

I'm going to buy for myself -- is that considered a present?

And wow. Pirate PBs sure skyrocketed. I want one for my Xweetok. D:

I didnt buy anything big like pbs, but I did get my friend a Rainbow Couch for 30k. I gave a few things to people who gave to me, and to a few of the members in my guild.

I'm not good at buying neo-gifts. I usually go to people's shops and buy an item to help them get closer to their goal of the moment

I'm debating buying an Island Paint Brush for myself...hmmm.

We had a Secret Santa for my guild. Got my person a few things for their gallery. They really loved them. Really liked the fountain I got from my SS. And one of the guildies handed out Plushie PPB's. Awfully sweet.

I saw that my friend joined today (horray--first referral!), so I'll have to do some after-Christmas Neo shopping as well as RL shopping tomorrow. Hah. I know she likes sheep, so I think I'll get her a Babaa.

Also, a bit O/T, but I didn't know that starter packs came with "cardboard" petpets now. That's a little...odd. Especially that they can't be traded/transferred/sold. Huh. Learn something new everyday.

Not so much this year. Last year I got my sis a halloween paint brush 'cause one of her pet's has a vampire name and happens to be a gelert. So he now fits his name better. I also happened to be strapped for cash last year and felt my real life present was kinda cheap. But I had plenty of neopoint and I knew she'd been wanting to paint him.

I gave a friend a snow petpet paint brush. her petpets are not as festive as they would be covered in snow and carrots.

I splurged and bought a bunch of prezzies for friends, including a pirate pb for a very good friend of mine. I have played the game for 4 years now so it isn't nearly as exciting to me as it is to some of my friends. I have much more fun splurging my neopoints on friends who are still so into the game than on buying yet another plushie for my plushie gallery. It is fun to see them get so excited. I don't mean to say that I am not still into the game. Just that I have gotten all out of the game that I have ever wanted, and more, so it is fun to give friends who started within the last year or two, the gift of their dreams. It makes the game fun for me again.

My friend got me a few things for my neohome, and I'm going to get her some stuff from her wishlist once I'm back home.

I've got a few items from people from neopian_adults (over at LJ), but I still have to buy my presents for them in return XD

I spoiled everyone in my guild as much as I possibly could including one person who got ripped by a neoglitch (Rauven) he got a stary paint brush.. was glad to see him smile so much.. gave out loads of codestones, petpets, faeries.. and misc christmas items.. I didnt get much but for me its about giving then when I get its an awesometacular surprise hehe
