In the end, when Peter had that vision of everyone around him and him exploding; as soon as the vision starts and Peter falls down, he has a watch on. It's the Sylar watch, the same one Sylar based his new 'name' on. Maybe Peter saw the whole thing through Sylar's eyes?

Well, TWW, if you just let the part of the episode you're watching run through once (like put it on mute or something), then it *might* be better.

Oh! Duh, I totally forgot. If you have cable, it's showing on the SCI-FI channel Friday night at 7 pm Eastern. ;)

All through the episode on Monday, I was saying: "Don't kill Peter. Don't kill Peter." I was slightly relieved when Sylar ended up killing the short haired girl, even though she isn't the one that irks me the most on the show. As long as I still have Peter, Hiro, and Issac.

The whole vision thing - I really don't want to believe that Peter is going to blow up, himself. I feel as if he was seeing everything through someone else's eyes. Perhaps there is another hero somewhere near the vacinity in which Peter fell, which would cause him to have the same power ... I'm not sure, really.

Sylar didn't kill Eden, she killed herself to keep him from getting her power.

Kenjiro: I never noticed that...interesting!

I got the episode guys! HOORAY! The real superhero is back in the game.... (speaking about myself, of course.)

Anyway, Wow. This was a GREAT episode. It was boring for a while.... but it finally started to get interesting around the 2nd half....

Point 1
It's really nice what Nikki did. She must have turned herself in to prevent Jessica from doing anything to Micah... which was really smart of her, except now she could potentially get in even more trouble if Jessica tries to break out of Jail! But good thinking Nicole... what a great way to show that the REAL you actually cares about your son.... i loved it.

Point 2
I didn't know WHAT to say when i saw the pic of Hiro and the Dinosaur... It was pretty much a "what the heck" face I made. So hiros going to get some sword... and use it really give him a hero face. Thats going to be real interesting if he learns how to use his powers enough to travel back to the dinosaur ages... EXCEPT he was TOTALLY right about the "What if i step on a bug?" thing.... at least he knows what he's talking about. One false move and he could change the future entirely. One squished bug could elimate the bug being food for a bird, which would lay an egg, which would get stolen by a smaller dinosaur, where a larger dinosaur would try to attack it, and chase it into a tar pit, which would later be excavated and make some guy a rich billionaire who finds the cure for aids with his money. Its crazy how things like that could work out....
I doubt he's going to the prehistoric era. That would be too hard to write AND film. Its got to be some twist..... he'll get his sword somewhere else. Ive heard things about him picking it up in a museum :)

Point 3
And hooray for isaac being able to paint without drugs. Yayyyy! He's almost mastered his power! I was SO suprised when i saw the painting of the exploding man in the background.... i just figured it would be Ted, the radiation guy!

Point 4
So... if peter in the future explodes.... well, thatd suck. But Heres a VERY Good point... that might not be completley accurate. For now, it was just a vision. But he can't die then, can he? He hasnt got the scar in that shot! Where's his scar?!??!!

Point 5
In the future, we DO see Issac. Theres a possibilty Sylar could have died.... that way he wasnt around to kill Issac?

Point 6
I do, however, hope Eden shot herself... i dont like watching her, and it'd be great for the story :D

Point 7
So maybe now some of the rumors about the Haitian taking charge of the situation are true..... we finally see it come out in this episode. He's not erasing claires memory... hes getting HER to work for HIM! He very well could still be evil.... but COULD be good. We cant be sure. I've been on and off so many times about whether Mr. Bennett (HRG) could be good or bad. Thus, we really cant be sure about the hiatian either. We can just assume hes on the opposite side of her dad.

Point 8
Cranberry wrote:
Yeah, the NYC thing's not going to happen exactly like that, because (biggish spoiler) more than one of the people in that vision is going to die before the "bomb" thing happens. I don't know which ones, though.
Excellent episode all-around. Eden most definitely shot herself right in the brain so Sylar couldn't get her power. Sylar with the power of persuasion would be very bad.

Ah ha! I KNEW IT. Peter didnt have his scar.... and now Issac could still potentially die if sylar managed to kill whats-her-face and escape. And it was only a vision... we cant guarentee it really meant anything! I bet one of the people you are talking about is Issac.....

Point 9
I forget.... whos linderman?

Gotta love the Heroes Wiki!

One of them could very well be Isaac, TWW. I have a general idea of who the other is -- it's one of a group of three, though I'm not sure which person in the group. ;)

Could anyone posting major spoilers, such as where Hiro gets his sword, and any deaths, and stuff like that, use tiny white font? It's common courtesy... some people hate spoilers, and some (like me) like minor spoilers but not major ones. :)

No, Sylar wanted her power of persuasion, and in order to get the power from her brain she had to be alive. So, she shot herself in the head so that Sylar couldn't get her power.

Imagine what would happen if Sylar got her power...

I wonder if how they save the explosion.... Peter's brother ( I can't remember his name at the moment) flys off with the person who ends up exploding?

Thank you. :)

And when the exploding person explodes over NYC instead of in NYC, that will only make most of the East Coast irradiated instead of just one small-ish area.

They will most likely just stop the person from exploding for the cornier, but more expected result.

That would then mess up the atmosphere about the whole US. I wish I could remember what the effects were exactly, but we talked about what nuclear explosions over various parts of the atmosphere would do to the planet. It would actually be better for the person to explode in the city or even underground/water. That way the damage to the planet/country/city would be lessened.

Okay, I'm starting to have Heroes withdrawals, so it's time to re-energize this thread!

One of my friends told me about this theory some people came up with. The theory goes that Hiro transports whoever explodes (whether it's Ted, Peter, or someone else) 65 million years into the past (which could explain Hiro and the dinosaur picture), and the person explodes, thus causing the extinction of dinosaurs worldwide.

It sounds crazy at first, but it kinda makes sense. Thoughts?

:roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

Right! That would work! That would mean the person exploding would have a rest mass of about 4.66e6 kg (1.07e7 lb). Good guess though. Although, it is possible if Hiro can get the person moving at .9999920c to get the person's rest mass from 75 (165 lb) to the required mass.

(To get the numbers, Needed mass: I looked up the estimated TNT equivalent for the extinction event [100e12 tons], converted to energy [4.184e23 J] and divided by c^2 to get the mass in kg; Rel speed: (M/m) = gamma and solved for (u/c)) :D

PS: I am sorry for busting all the theories, but I am just representing the scientific side of the equation using the science I know best: physics. Sorry again.

Edit: fixed #s

Sorry, can't help it - but Hiro time travels, a guy reads thoughts, another guy flies, a teenager can come back from the dead, a guy can go through things... do we not take science within the realms of the tv show with a pinch of salt?
