Any tips for UB? Highest I get is 27, with the free powerup cheat. I guess I'm a horrible aim.

Yeah, I would've been in trouble for that game, but luckily the first coin I got was worth 50! I usually get like 2 points when I play it.

Yeah, I would've given up on that game if I didn't hear about the 100 gold coin on here. I just kept playing till it showed up one game.

For Ultimate Bullseye I kept trying until I got the free powerup of Punchbag Bob. I practiced that until I could hit the apple, which gives 20 points. Luckily I then got another Punchbag Bob and another 20 points.

Thanks. I finally got it, with 54 points. The apple helped alot. Now I only have potatoe counter to do. I have an idea though. I'm gonna use a program that makes a video recording of your screen. Then I'll just watch the video step by step and count them :)

P.S.

Darn, you have a time limit to input your answer.

I could never count all them on the 4th round, so I just counted all I could and added 2, after about 30 games I got it.

Can't get past round 3 :( I guess I'll have to just keep trying.

I know many people who work jobs and go to school would have had a hard time finishing it even over the thanksgiving weekend it is a busy weekend... plus you can only stare at your computer screen so long heh. I'll either finish this tonight or tomorrow.

I'd kinda like to see this as a monthly or semi monthly type thing. But i doubt we will have it again next month with the advent candender and all :)

Well, since the U-13 crowed had legitimate issues it's nice that they extended it for them - but frankly the work/school excuse seems kind of unfair to me.

I'm an adult, I work a full time job - plus two part time jobs (all of which I had to do last week) I also had out of town company this whole weekend, but I knew there was a deadline, so I made an effort to complete the puzzle on time. Its sort of unfair that poeple that knew about the deadline and just couldn't find time get addtional time.

Now we don't know if there will be additonal prizes or what have you for this, but assuming that there are my reward for completeing the challenge based on the rules that were set will be lessened by the people that got extra time.

Its not the end of my world or anything, and I'm not super mad, but I am slightly annoyed, and its not really fair to try and argue that its 'fair' because it benefits you.

On a different note, I think this is shaping up to be a regular occurence, the structure and wording of the challenge strongly implys that they'll make a version of this one of the weekly challenges, which would be awesome  :D

To ^:
I think it's alright for TNT to extend the thing...although I finished a loong time ago.
Maybe they have prizes for people who finish all challenges...maybe they'll give better prizes for those who finish first!
Or do they have MORE challenges...? If so, people who finished first would have advantage, cause we won't be too tired of playing games (especially those like UB and EPC) and would complete the next round of challenges faster and in a better mood?

work/jobs? I'm a full time student and work 15 hours a week as well as freelance at least an hour a day, and I still had time to finish the challange relatively quickly. I just have wacky priorities :-P

The extension was due to the fact the Under 13's accounts couldn't send challenge cards.

Obviously TNT should have thought of this before (not the 1st time this has happened) but it is nice that they have allowed an extra day for this reason.

TNT never usually finishes anything at the stated time, so it is no real surprise to me.

As to it being 'fair' or 'unfair' is a moot point. Those who could finish in the stated time are not losing anything because of it and an extra 24 hours isn't going to make much of a difference to those still struggling. It really only gives those who only had the challenge card problem a chance to finish the challenge.

I wouldn't like to see this a monthly challenge - it would take away the uniqueness of the event. I believe it is a once-off challenge due to the new look Games Room.

I finally finished! I'm glad they extended it til today, I was having a nigtmare with any mouse based game, I had to go and borrow a graphics tablet from the IT guys at my work in the end (stupid old mouse).

My last 3 games were Sophie's stew (mouse problems made that one impossible), Warf rescue team (I'd never played it before) and Snow Wars II (likewise).

I had horrible problems with EPC too, it just takes luck to get fairly high numbers in the first two rounds. *shudder* I hate that game.

Ah well, all this has taken me one step closer to the top gamer avatar I'm too lazy to get.

Thu Nov 30, 2006 2:14 pm

Thats weird, my account is set to under 13 and I could send challenge cards. A trouphy would be nice, but I dont really expect anything else when it does close.

Thu Nov 30, 2006 3:09 pm

This has been bothering me for a whileWhy are we assuming that we get extra prizes at any point? Surely the prizes we get are the prizes for the challenges and after the deadline we can no longer get them? And that's the point of the deadline?

Am I missing something...?

Thu Nov 30, 2006 3:19 pm

Most people are asuning there will be prizes because of the point system. But you never know what to expect fron Neopets.
