I get the idea that Krawkly was the inpersionation of the curse. When the curse was lifted everything that was connected to it dissapeared, including Krawly.

Maybe the whole thing was a story after al. Maybe it's some gypsy telling the story of an ancester gypsy who was telling the story to kids to keep them busy till bedtime. It's a bit weirdly set as it seems the story is really happening, and not just a story. Although the elefant looks kinda shifty in the last picture.

As for tomorrow, I think we'll get the revamped haunted woods. The current pages really need an update so I think they'll do that tomorrow.

I'm kinda dissapointed that the plot already ended, I really wanted more of these puzzles, they where great fun! This plot seems really short somehow, but I think that's because of the quick releases. In previous plots we'd have to wait 1 or even 1,5 weeks for an update, this time we got at least 1 and sometimes even 2 updates per week. I'm curious about the prizes, I'm hoping for a sidebar with sophie and potions on it :)

Ohhh...A Sophie themed sidebar would be soo cool! I love how she looks and her outfit. I just wish that Neopets would make a Sophie paintbrushe for the Ixi's. Of course, then I would have to get an Ixi or an Ixi potion, but it would be well worth it.

I have 5 referals for Neopets Premeium im me:)

I've been reading the forums at idb and i came across this:"So the 12 war challengers we've had were 160 through 172, but there are some more challengers past 172 ie: javascript:MakeOnePlayerChallenge(173).

You'll notice because it says they're not available as opposed to "Does not exist." Personally I'm hoping for a shot at the bruce."
the above was posted way before the mayor was released, and he was challenger no.173.I did a check with no.174 and true enough,it reads "ERROR : This opponent is not enabled yet!"
I highly suspect that this is Krawley. But on the other hand, who knows. :>

Or maybe it's something I've been waiting a long time for... the next DoN challenger. :)

Heh. I knew it was going to finish, only I expected Krawley to make a final appearence before the end. I still luff Krawks to no end. Anyway, let's just hope in a good b/d weapon as a prize. I've done all puzzle steps, but I've been mediocre in the battledome and I don't know what to expect.
I might open bets on when prizes will be released, too

I'm so happy a Krawk was featured for once!. I wish they'd show a bit more of him though -- he's one of my favourite plot characters now. They really gave him personality through his eyes and such.

It's really making my kougra/krawk debate a little harder -- I really loved Darigan Krawks long before the plot and now that this has started it's swayed my opinion a little further. :P

Edit: Does anyone think the quickness and overall completion time of this plot was fast because Neopets was bought by a large company?. The plots and interaction related activities are one of the reasons why Neopets is so loved -- could they be pushing plots a little more considering they see it as players + plots + envolvement = money/profit?.

I was thinking it ended quickly because Halloween is over... and the plot certainly seemed to have something of a Halloween theme.

I think it had more to do with them planning a little better. I got the impression, from the speedy releases of the chapters, that they had the whole thing much more planned-out than before. They've been talking about this plot since before Altador, if my memory is correct. Sometimes in the past I got the feeling they got held up releasing new chapters or activities because things weren't ready to go.
I'd suggest that it's the new head-of-whatever(who used to work for Nick Jr.) they have running things who helped with this organization, but she only came on board recently.

And personally, I'm hoping for some sort of epilogue rather than a continuation of the plot. Too many ends have been tied up already.

It did feel a little abruptly ended. Come to think of it Haunted Woods plot has the exact number of chapters as Lost Desert plot (3 prologues + 15 chapters for HW, and 18 chapters for LD).
Then again Curse of Maraqua had 21 chapters...

I still can't escape the feeling that the ending was rushed and that we needed one more step, difficult one for a change.

Why did they make the gypsy elephante disappear? I would think that he really doesn't need to disappear like that, just Krawley disappearing is already sufficient(as in they really don't need to make Krawley=Elephante and just treat him as the storyteller). Surely there should be a reason behind it, other than symbolizing the disappearance of Krawley/lifting of the curse....could it be that TNT still have something in store for us later?.....well maybe I'm just too desparate to try to make more out of this rather unsatisfying ending...

The thing I always hate is when they leave the curse on one character. They did it with the Nightsteed in LDP, and they did it to Bruno here. That's not closure in any sense of the term. Also, they didn't explain the motives behind anything at all. Who was Krawley? Why did he give the potion to the people in the first place? What went wrong? What was with Ilere, and why did they almost completely leave out such a cool character?

They always do this, and I'm pretty tired of it. However, I'll forgive them if they get prizes out soon.

But at least with Bruno there was a plausible reason why the curse remained, unlike The Nightsteed. It's been years since this all started for him, but a only a few weeks or even days for the townspeople. They were under the Spirits curse for most of that time, it was only when he removed it when they went back to suffering the effects of Krawley's potion. So, while it might not be the best way to end things for him, at least it made sense.

I didn't see the update to the gypsy camp until my fourth of fifth return to Neovia, so the Krawley/pink elephante connection seemed to be stretching it a bit far. Now, however, it's rather obvious that they're one in the same. His disappearance reinforces the notion that he's still out there somewhere and up to no good. If you treat this like any other horror/scary story, it makes much more sense to leave a lingering threat rather than having the good guys completely prevail. I'm satisfied with the ending. Although I did like someone's idea of having the townspeople and the town itself return to their twisted forms at night. They'd still be socialble and polite, just with extra limbs and a bit more drool.

I LIKE that Bruno is still a mutaint. I think he's cool like that. I dunno, it just makes sence to me.

Same here. I think for some reason he looks great as a mutant. o_0 He's also very strong this way, which I like it. :)

About the elephante's disappearance...I have no idea. Maybe Krawkley morphed himself into an elephante? But that doesn't explain his disappearance... o_O
