Actually, his poor eating habits and lack of exercise, combined with the stress from having hordes of neopets attack him, finally became too much for his weak heart muscles, and he had a heart attack. None of us killed him.

Whoo, No more losing. I congratulate the person who was able to get the last shot in. Thank Goodness that's over with. I wonder if Neopets will give points to the people that made their records look bad but fighting the boss so much. Hopefully, an update tonight =3

blue_fire_cat and strange_music both show they defeated the mayor, they must both have beat him at the same time as he died.
xmusic_is_lifex also beat the mayor
night_rainbow7299 also, probable several more, each with a different points eaned, the highest I've seen in 100,068, so probably at least 68 people beat him. Wish I was one

Interesting. Where can you see that? Does anyone still have the mayor on their regular opponents list (he's on my opponents found list, but not in the challengable list).

Go to User Lookup for the person, click on the stats for One Player BD, scroll to bottom of page
It will show the win loss record and points earned for each opponent the player has fought in the BD

most of these war boss dealies are beaten by multiple people, since people can spend forever just fighting them once they become relatively killable. this one was just unique in that he absorbed all damge, unless they changed that at the end

Wait... if he was timed, then why did they let the first stage go by within a few hours? Some people never even got the chance to play that stage?
(I know the obvious answer is "so they could get this done by Monday," but I'm still wondering why they didn't extend it a bit.)
