I guess I must have misunderstood. I thought I remembered it being said that when you get your pet to strength=35, there would be a hit point boost. My yurble got to 35 today, but his hit point didn't boost. Did I misunderstand?

I think you might have misread the post.

Your damage multiplier increases with each STRENGTH boost. Your hitpoints do NOT increase. The same goes with defence.

When you get to 35, you do more hitpoints of damage for each icon. Your hitpoints aren't affected. At 34 strength, your opponent takes 1 hp of damage per icon. At 35, they take 2 hp of damage per icon. Does that make sense?

I believe if you're lucky enough, you can also get your HP raised with the shrine.
