Hi, I'm one of those who avidly reads the forum but never posts... But now I'm also among those who feel dumb because they are still stuck on step two lol. Can anyone help me figure it out please? I've been trying all week but 1. I don't quite understand all the calculations in the walkthrough and 2. if I blow up my potion another time, I'm scared there is going to be black goo stuck forever on my desk ;)

My list is:

Composite #1:

Quantity: 16 grams
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +43 +/- 5

Composite #2:

Quantity: 25 grams
Relevant property: Power
Target value: +80 +/- 5

So, anyone, please?

I got my potions all correct. I threw them in the cauldron.

Am I crazy? Didn't I get it correct? the only thing that wasn't EXACTLY on the money was the -406 +/-1, which I got as -405 (that is certainly within 1)
so....

What is UP with that?

without seeing your Sophie composites then we cant really tell you hon, can you give us the composites?


4g Babaa Wool - Crushed
2g Bagguss Pulp - Crushed, Burned, Soaked, Dessicated
2g Crushed Jurpleberries - Burn, Crushed, Soaked
2g Crushed Jurpleberries - Crushed, Soaked

was this what you used for the Goo?

I need help with this composite..I dont understand how the did it on the guide so if you can help me that would be great
