Hmm... this may be a bit of a weird question, but it's been bugging me even since I recalled that ghost I saw...

Of course, when I saw her I was too afraid to even think about this, but...

Assuming you could control your fear to do either of these options, if a ghost held out it's hand for you as if wanting you to come with him or her, should/would you follow them?

Actually, it would be the presence of the ghost. I'd probably be frightened, but, somehow you always know if a ghost is good or bad... If I felt it was good, I'd go with it. If it was bad, well... I'd probably go screaming to dad ordering him to do something with it...

The ghosts I saw, they just sort of bugged me, and scared me. I didn't go yelling and screaming, one I got enough of him (I only saw the others once) I calmly woke up my dad and told him to do something with the ghost so he'd leave me alone.

as for the resident wraith..hell no, dont care what im missing out on im never going near a wraith.

Ehm... this may be a bit stupidish sounding, but how can you tell the difference between a ghost and a wraith? I've heard that some wraiths appear as floating black smoke blobs, but then again, I would assume they could be in person/ animal shapes also.

a ghost -as i know them- is like a 3 dimensional shadow made of light (so basicly your seeing a blurred person, made only of light) a Wraith on the other hand is much more blurred, and made of shadow (and are ALOT darker than normal shadows, because simply i saw one when the only light source was the moon)
and Orbs are just some kind of energy, they ONLY appear over lay lines, which are minute cracks in the tectonic plates, its been studied and 'proven'

Just as a fun story to tell, my teacher used one of those ouija boards with her friends when she was younger (she's only in her late twenties now) and first they were asking dumb questions like "Will I get married" and junk, but then they were like "Who are you" talking to, I dunno, the ghost leading the ouija, and they got "CARCRASH" and all this weird information about how he/she/it died and things like that. It was kinda creepy, and she knew she wasn't doing it and none of her friends were really that smart. ("No offense to them," she said) I'm not sure why I told that story, but whatever.

Once, one of my friends was recording a song she wrote, and as she played it back, she got to the part where she sang 'Don't turn around' and all the song suddenly faded out and a voice said 'TURN AROUND'. There was no-one in the house but her.

Does anyone belive in reincarnation?

I do because of my niece Sara. Sara's dad, Robert (my brother in law) used to have 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Now he only has 3 brothers. All of his other siblings died in a fire in the mid '70's. He had a sister named Angie. Robert's mom pushed Angie back into the fire because she was jealous that Angie was Roberts dad's fave. So she basically killed her own daughter. Anyways, fast forward to 1991. My niece Sara is born. Around the age of 2 1/2, 3...she starts ringing her hands in a very unique way that Robert said Angie did. Sara also had nightmares about a fire and she would wake up in the middle of the night screaming " Mom pushed me into the fire!". No one had told her what had happened in the 70's, because how really would you even tell a 3 year old about that? But we all think Sara is the reincarnation of her aunt Angie.

*goes back to the ghost talk*

*back to some things Saph talked about* My dad and one of my sisters have experienced those "old hag" attacks. I shared a room with both of my sisters at the time and it was REALLY scary waking up in the middle of the night watching this happen to her...

From ages 7-17 I lived in a house I think was haunted. I never "saw" anything. It was just a sense of never being alone. Hair always standing up on the back of my neck like sense..

I used to have a calico cat named Callie. Callie died in November of 2002. She had not eaten anything for 2 days and was walking funny. It was winter and the roads were icy, so I think what may have happened is she tried to cross the street or something and a car slid on the ice and hit her back legs or something. I dont know. I should mention, Callie had a very distinct meow. It was unlike any cat meow I had ever heard before or since. Ok, so Callie hadn't eaten in two days. I had decided to take her to the vet in the morning, because it was late at night and no vet was open right then.. I made Callie as comfortable as I could in her bed, then I went to bed myself. The next morning I woke up, walked into the bathroom and found Callie dead on the floor. A few weeks later, the hinges on the bathroom door began to squeak. They had never squeaked before. But the sound they are making now sounds exactly like Callie's meow...

*another ghost thing* My mom used to work for a cleaning company that cleaned doctor's offices and banks. One of the banks downtown used to be a movie theater. When the theater was being built, the owner found out his wife was having an affair. So the theater owner found the guy and killed him and buried him inside the wall of the theater. The guy was conisdered missing until they found his body when they tore down the theater to put up the bank. When they were building the bank, my brother in laws dad, who's in construction and helped with the building, said that every time they would try to put in a nail or screw or anything like that in the place where the body was found, it would come right back out. After the bank was built and everything, my mom said that sometimes when she would clean there, she would sometimes see a black shadow like thing peeking around corners watching her. But it only peeked around corners around the area of where the body was found. And even weirder....my mom would only see it on Thursdays.

Now, as for ghost pics, I don't think I have any....not sure. But there are quite a few at http://www.coasttocoastam.com/gallery/images.html You can tell most are fake, but there are alot that I'm just not sure... Another good place is http://www.ghoststudy.com/fresh.html

Do any of you remember that show that used to be on...oh what was it called...*tries to remember*... oh! Scariest Places on Earth! That was it! I really liked that show. I wish they would bring it back. Yes I liked it, now stop staring at me...

EDIT! ok, just went to one of those sites I mentioned. I hadn't been to either of them in awhile and I wanted to look at the new pics. Ok, now look at the third pic on this page http://www.ghoststudy.com/monthly/jun04/tree.htm

Is it just me or does the mouth on the "child" seen to be slowly opening and closing... It seems to be closed when I look at it, but if I start to glance way, it seems to open a bit. AHhhhh! I'm going crazy!!

As I stated earlier, what a Ouija board can do has very little to do with the board itself. I'm not totally certain that Wal-Mart carries Ouija boards, but I know Toys 'R' Us (or maybe it was K.B. Toys) carries them. They are mass produced and sold as toys, but you don't have to actually buy one of the mass produced ones, unless for convenience sake. You can make your own and it will work just the same.

Yeah. The one I used to have used to be made of wood and it was really heavy. And the one I have now is called "Psychic Circle". The design is slightly different, and there are a few things added, but it's still basically the same thing. I'll try and find a picture of it...

EDIT: ok, found a pic. Now this is what I have now. As you can see, it doesn't just have numbers and letters. It also includes colors, astrological symbols and planet symbols

Wow, that's just scary. I'm not sure whether I believe in reincarnation or not, because I've never had anything like that happen to me personally.

Gone, forever.

1. Get a heavy peice of cardboard (I suggest this for durability's sake, though you could also just use paper)
2. Write the required symbols/words on it (A-Z, 0-9, Ouija, Yes, No, Good-Bye)
3. Create a planchette of some sort (Anything small that you can easily place your hands on and glides across the board will do, a small glass, like a shot glass, is a personal favourite of mine)
