The lag is getting worse again. I guess I'll just wait till tomorrow morning before I fight again :) It's not worth the frustration for me.

People say the lag will get less when people are maxed out, so I gues we just have to wait till then. :)

Anyway, what do you guys think will happen next? Will it just be a war from now on, or will we get more puzzles too? I hope TNT is going to alternate between puzzle steps and new battledome waves.

I'd like to think they'll alternate between advancing the plot and additional waves of opponents for the war...that would keep the battlers and non-battlers both interested! ------- As far as being stuck in a battle... see if you can unequip one of your weapons, that has worked for me in the past. Just remember to re-equip it before you go back in to fight again,LOL! ---- The lag is much worse than it ever was for the Maraqua war...and I'd say waiting for people to max out on these opponents might take a while,LOL!

You're right, at this rate it could take weeks :D Lol Hopefully TNT will try to speed things up a bit, at least so we don't get any white pages and errors :) Maybe after the weekend people will lose interest, have to go to school/work and the BD will speed up again? *positive thinking*

Anyway, I really hope TNT will release a new puzzle part for the plot for the weekend so we have something to do while waiting for the pages to load :D

That may be the case, but right now fighting in the battledome is like trying to eat honey off of a cheese grater.

The problem with this, is releasing three low opponents at once. Everyone can beat each guy once at least, and the Superpets are in the battledome three times as much. -_-
The battledome is killing my pet. Right now the stones are hitting up to half my pet's health away, and then half the time it'll stop the battle and my pet will be at half health. AUGH.

I doubt I'll get my goal of 100 wins per opponent like this. Since it's intergrated with the plot, it's more likely they won't stay in the battledome while another wave comes up. It'll be finished by the end of the weekend. I'm just gonna go backwards, now, and get as many as I can. Sigh.

The lag seems to be just a little better now. And for those of you needing a good weapon AND if you have enough money (2 mil) my fire and ice blade is VERY nice I'm hitting those stones for about 60 hp each time.

Haha. Nice looking, yes, but it only does 6.5 to 10.9 icons (suffers from fractional icons). For less than 150k, you can get an Ice Club or Stone Club, which do a solid 9 icons each. Scuzzy's Comb does a solid 10 for under 500k (Ramtors Spellbook does 10 for around 800k). You can get a Goo Blaster or Fungus Ray for between 1.1 and 1.4 mil, and they each do a solid 11 icons. Or you can spend just over 3 mil and get a solid 13-iconer like Wand of Reality or Bow of Destiny. Fire and Ice Blade used to be a coveted weapon (I used to want one; it looks so cool!), but it's more of a gallery thing now. :)

I love to listen to experienced BD'ers talk about weapons... It gives me something to dream about and aim for! I had to debate with myself for a day deciding if I wanted to spend the money on the stone club. I went for it!

I'm still using the scarab ring and golden compass. I'm at 26-2-41 for wins...I only drew once...that was before I realized that despite the fact she's at a level 1, my lab pet rocks in the Battledome...well...maybe not as rockin' as some other people, but I'm totally working on making my Yurble my battle pet for the next war...yay. I'm so glad it's at least working today! I was so frustrated yesterday. Yes, there is a massive lag, but it's better than nothing, eh. :)

EDIT
It took me about 30 minutes to shell out the np for the golden compass (cause it put me under 1 million, sadly enough:(), but it's totally worth it. Works so well. I'm knocking out about 25-30 hp per hit between the two.

Hi, I thought I'll drop by to join the plot. I've gotten up to the last part of step 10.

So far I've been forced to withdraw twice because the site just hangs on "waiting for neopets.com" to load. I end up with a lot of blank pages in the battledome.

I'm also strugging with lag in the step 10 area of the plot. If all else fails I thinl I'll take a break and come back later when the server hopefully isn't as burdoned.

BTW is it possible that this order doesn't work for everyone on step 10 stage 3?
Quote:
Stage 3 you have 5 ingredients, and you want to get a silver-red swirl pot (Try: Red -> Green -> Blue -> Purple -> Grey -> Pink -> 4-color, -> green/yellow swirl -> Sparkly Purple -> Silver/Red swirl). Overflow occurs at 10 items.

I followed the order, got each color up to the sparkly purple. Only that no matter what I choose afterwards, I'm not getting the red/silver potion that would complete the step.

butterfly> I had a similar problem.. had to try over and over and over again till it randomly turned the right colour. That last step seems arbitrary

It finally worked. :D I choose the bumroot (looks aptly named. :P) for at least the 2nd or third try. (after about 3 or more hours of poking at all of those items)

I'm sure this one will work! Let's see what happens.

The BD is still lagging. I am bored and frustrated of waiting for my PC to load a page. Only managed to get 10 fights before I slammed my table :P

I will try again tomorrow I think.
